Has anyone found the language barrier in Italy to be an issue? I don't know a lick of Italian but I'd like to visit there when I come over next year.
  2. In the matches that I have watched he has been decent. He's had a couple moments this season where he gave away costly penalties, but he seems to be good in the air and has scored a few goals iirc. There's been some discussion about making his move permanent but I think that will depend on the relegation situation.

I'll be in Toronto next week for work but I plan on breaking away to see Niagara from the Canada side, as it's supposed to be the superior side of the falls. Also have a lakehouse booked in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for the end of June. Can't wait.

We still get quite a few in our yard at dusk, though not as many as I recall when i was young. The kids run around trying to get them to land in their hands.
  5. @Tommy What? It said spot the difference. It's all I could think of .
  6. I seem to recall hearing that he was going to Benfica not long after I posted that. I'm surprised because that feels like a sideways move. Also, the latest talk on Adi Hütter seems to be that he will get at least another year in Gladbach. I would've thought Wolfsburg or Hertha, maybe even Schalke if they were promoted would have been options.
  7. What I'll say is that Hicken's work is fantastic. Take Us Home was a brilliant piece of work that not only pulled from Leeds the club but also Leeds the community. It's not surprising that Windhorst has vetoed the work. He's come off like a right prick in the media so why would the documentary show anything different. Shame that the work will likely never see the light of day.
  8. All that talk about him going to Newcastle . Was never going to happen. He bleeds Bayern.
  9. Watching Valencia regularly this season and they have become a total hoofball team under Bordalas. No surprise I guess considering his tactics at Getafe, but wow. There is some real talent in that squad and it's being wasted. They had a 6-match unbeaten run snapped this past weekend but that's not saying much... I think it was 2 wins and 4 draws. Their tactics are reduced to getting the ball to Guedes or Soler and hoping for a penalty. There are no center forwards of any consequence to even hoof it to. I doubt Guedes will be there next season... to much class to play in that style.
  10. So which is it? A plague or a cancerous ulcer?
  11. Come on over to BVB, our standards are much lower.
  12. A Villareal kit would have been fitting for a true gloryhunter
  13. This is why Tommy swears off of Kölsch. Nothing but trouble there.
  14. Seriously? I assumed that you were younger. Don't have a good reason why just got a mental picture in my head I guess. Happy Birthday bud.
  15. I was listening to the Gegenpress podcast yesterday and they were talking about Gravenberch. Sounds like he would be a backup #6 since Tolisso is leaving. They don't see him as a starter just yet. Edited to say that BVB were after Mazraoui but he seems to want Bayern.
