Never heard of it

Not watching this one but was great to watch our best performance last night in a long time. Finally a win and should sure up a top 6 finish.

You guys (and the rest of us) are fighting human selfishness. Victoria letting us all down, with security guards shagging people with COVID. We only have 6 active cases but our borders are basically shut and quarantine is mandatory (not that Victorians know what that means with 53% of people being tested for symptoms just roaming around). A second wave is inevitable here as we can’t keep borders shut forever and, as we’ve seen, only takes a few to kick things off again.

One week later I’m at season 4... obsessed

I went top notch places for two weeks. Ate out every meal, private taxis everywhere, etc. Wouldn’t have spent close to that - if I took out the actual flights to India and the one return flight within India. I spent way more than most I know who’ve travelled there. But I wanted a level of comfort. I can’t speak for Goa, maybe it’s more expensive but Bangalore, Delhi, Agra, Jaipur etc insanely cheap!

All that Switzerland talk! Been to Europe many times but still haven’t been there. Parents and sister have, and rate it highly. While I’m dreaming of a holiday, my top 5 countries to visit over my life time are: 1. Canada - ideally for snowboarding. 2. Switzerland 3. Peru - Machu Picchu 4. Brazil - Rio, Amazon, and Iguazú Falls. 5. Iceland

I stand mistaken. Although, now I think about it my mate was in Jakarta teaching at an international school for years with no formal qualifications so to speak. He came back here a few years ago and completed an education degree and is now smashing it at a good school! At the school I was at in Japan, if you taught the kindergarten kids you didn’t need an education background... crazy when you think how important that age is. There were many good educators though, during the years I was there, so that was good for those kids!

By proper teacher I meant in an international school setting. There are so many opportunities out there for people who complete TEFl, TESOL, CELTA, or whatever they’re called and some of those people can be amazing. You’re just usually likely to get someone who wants a holiday. I don’t have a masters, but in the future I’m looking to further my own education by doing some post-grad stuff.

If they’re proper teachers at proper schools you need more than just a tefl.
