Anyway, we have a drugs thread.. which I think isn’t appropriate for a football forum but I ain’t the boss. There is a strong correlation of my physical and mental health and when I stopped playing football regularly. I think throwing in teaching six year olds this year I feel like I am constantly being attacked by diseases and illnesses! I’ve learnt about 3 new things I never knew existed before I started this school year. I am trying to get back to Perth for next year. Currently, I am 140kms away from my football club and that’s impossible for me to train. I also lack motivation to even play. 3 games this season due to injuries/other commitments. Played two games of cricket so far for this season but it’s not the same. But apart from my immune system not being its best (had glandular fever a fair few years back and really think that knocks you for life) I haven’t got any complaints.

Ive looked into actually getting onto Antarctica. Absolute mind boggling prices from Australia. Cheaper for me to fly to Argentina and go from there. I want to do it but need to find someone willing to also spend like $9k. I have s friend who did it basically for free as part of an environmental project thing.

We may have the best front three the league has seen but my god we were shite against the bloody Mariners. They surprised me though! We sorely miss Davidson, Lowry and Spira. We look like conceding every game.

Just got home from cricket. Hours in the fucking sun, am cooked. Made 3 with the bat, took our only two wickets as we lost easily. I avoided the glory score. Sat down to watch it but the program told me where the goals were scored so I just skipped to them. I’ll take a draw.

First day back this term we had a morning session on Mentally Healthy Workplaces. It also provided us with many shocking statistics about our profession. I’d say my workplace is semi healthy, but there’s always room for improvement...

We didn’t lose? We conceded a 95th minute injury time equalizer. Initially ruled out for offside but got overturned. A close call. I’d say the correct one. We Went defensive second half and were shite. We started last year the exact same with a 1-1 draw against crap (WSW). We get s few players back soon so let’s hope thst helps. Agreed about that front three!

Adelaide 2-3 Sydney Shite WSW 2-1 CCM Victory 0-0 City Glory are at home today to Fowler’s Roar. I’m not in town so probably won’t go. Would be a good game I think and I expect us to win. 2-1

Didnt take long for VAR to make an appearance, in my opinion, gifting Sydney and Le Fondre the opener. Not sure on the new handball ruling but I’d argue the arm was out to balance his jump! Sydney’s second was class though, they’re looking good. Adelaide have had chances and as I type they’ve scored a great free kick to make it 1-2 after 44 minutes.

Season starts in less than an hour! Adelaide host Sydney. I’m tipping a draw.
