Agree on Josh Kelly, he thinks he's far better than he actually is. Had all attributes to be a decent fighter but lacked a bit of power and left himself far too open with his style.
Don't like Whittaker though, unlikable for me.
What's your opinion on this Whittaker showboating stuff?
I know there have been others that have done stuff similar in the past but I personally find he's more belittling than say Naz was. I don't like it actually and it's turned me off him completely.
If I've not finished my pint at closing time I've sneaked a glass out with me many times.
I wouldn't steal a glass for my house though, I've got plenty already.
Love/Hate
Irish gangster series. Its over 10 years old but it's been brilliant viewing and I will be gutted when I watch the final ever episode this evening.
I like pineapple on pizza but the thought of chocolate and chicken seems a bit out there to me.
That said sometimes unusual food combinations work. I'd defo try it.
He's absolutely terrible isn't he. Crazy thing was he looked brilliant against us for Sevilla. But having watched him in the flesh I can safely say he's one of the worst full backs I've ever seen play for United.
Went cinema to watch that movie, had no idea of the weird shit that happens in it.
Really good film but honestly it went too far for me. But it got people talking about it so I suppose the shock factor did it's job.
8/10
At what point is it seen as unacceptable. 15 league defeats?
11 at the moment, to me thats enough. He's should be gone by tomorrow but for some fucking crazy reason people seem obsessed with giving him to the end of the season.
Get a caretaker in, no point having him hang round any longer he's out of his depth.
Something Ratcliffe said that I really liked was the fact they will be looking to play a certain brand of football from top to bottom and whatever manager comes in he will have to play that way. This will also reflect in transfers so that we never end up with a manager having to deal with a group of players not suitable to the system ever again.
We're miles off at the moment, but at least there is now something in place to hopefully bring us back.
That's the thing, I don't think we can offer more than counter attack football. That was Ole's best method for getting victories.
As for ETH, he is praying 5th gets Champions league, that's the only way in for us now. We ain't getting top 4.
Where has he said its for the stadium?
He talked about regeneration of the area. Manchester United aren't responsible for the roads and areas around the stadium, the council are responsible for these areas. So a conversation should be had about a contribution.
The club are responsible for the land they own.
Are we sure he's not talking about investment in the area around the new stadium?
Aside from that everyone is overlooking the fact Manchester City and West Ham both sit in stadiums built using tax payers money.
I suppose it's any stick to beat United with though. Just becoming a bit boring really.
If Spurs can come up with a legitimate way of funding a new stadium then Manchester United won't struggle. People just love a story about United and they run away with it.
Imagine how much money we could generate by selling the naming rights to our stadium, it would be insane. Also the NFL could look to bring itself to the North of England as well as London.
There are loads of possibilities.
Didn't enjoy it Nudge, I get you should take these movies how they come but I kind of lost sight of whether he was good or bad in the end as he was just killing everyone.
When he walked up to the special forces outside the tower block and just joined in their conversation on how to get in the building I'd had enough. It was beyond ridiculous.
Klopp is one of thee best, I've no doubt about it but what chance has he got against a bottomless pit.
I take my hat off to him for actually pushing them as well has he has done.
From top to bottom City have brought in the best in every department. What can you do when they can rebuild and write off players without the worry of balancing the books. That's without taking into account Pep and his own brilliance.
Was discussing this with my mate, ETH only managed Ajax a short period and with the team he inherited it would have been hard not to win his domestic league. Of course he did well in Europe but again they had some really good players within that squad which lifted a lot of average players. Similar to Monaco a few years before.
I'm guilty of wanting him to be fair, there were some people with concerns about his overall experience and that seems fair now given he looks out of his depth. I think he came with a plan of how he wanted to play and quickly realised the players he had couldn't play that way.
Problem is you can't shift players at United and the players he added were nowhere near good enough.
He's actually managed to weaken us which is actually insane when you think about it.
Then there is the blatant money wastage. He's blown a fortune. Maybe with better guidance he'd have done better but I'd imagine we will never know now as I think he's going at the end of the season.
Heard his agent is at Carrington as we speak. It wouldn't surprise me if he puts in a transfer request and we accept.
We need rid of these players, the club will never get back to it's best with the attitude of some of these lads. Such a shame as well as he's a local lad, why would he destroy his career at his boyhood club?
Yeah, the M60 is a nightmare.
I've been to a Concrete luncheon at Hotel football, I went thinking it would be decent but it wasn't great. My mate stayed over and said the Premier Inn rooms were better.
