I'm glad I watched this match today. We had beautiful weather today, apparently for the only time for the next few weeks, and I really wanted to go out and enjoy it, but I had to watch this and root for Rafa! And it was a historical moment after all. The first male tennis player to win 21 Grand Slams! Legend! I really wanted to go to Manacor when I was on Mallorca, his hometown. It was only a few km's away from where I was staying, and they have a museum there about him. Ah well, next time.

I thought he was done for physically after his long injury, Covid, the long tournament etc. I forgot that he is an actual machine.

Watching the 1992 Montreal GP at the moment. Schumacher in that yellow and green Jordan. That must be around the time I started watching F1 properly. Maybe a year later, I think. Constantly googling/wikpedia'ing drivers from back then. Ivan Capelli driving for Ferrari that year. I never knew that.

Operation Homemade Kebab was a success. Cost me my electric knife, as the meat was still pretty frozen despite it being out of the freezer for over an hour. Turned out quite well though. I was afraid that the meat would fall apart if I put it into the pan. But it wasn't the case for the most part. Made a Dürüm out of it, with cucumber, tomato, feta and homemade Döner sauce! I don't know why some of these pictures are blurry. Am I becoming John?

I didn't like him while I was a big Federer fanboy, but he's a legend. Very likable guy as well. When there were those floods on Mallorca, he did so much to help, like opening his Academy to offer people shelter. He deserves every little bit of success that is coming his way. And as I sad, he was injured for 6 months, got Covid, and turns up to the Australian Open like this. Absolute machine.
