  1. That's sad. I've been following this story and was hoping for a happy end.

Ooooh nice. Uerige is indeed proper Düsseldorfer Alt. I walk past their brewery quite often. It's always packed in summer.

And no cat in sight! But the underground looks the same. So the cat was in fact on the dining table? Chili looks good though!

Yea, unfortunately. Also there's also almost always like some feather on these free range eggs. Like they glue it on there for show.

Both. If it's supposed to be fancy, I definitely prefer the butcher. And if I buy meat in a store, I make sure they are from good or at least decent livestock farming. We actually have a rating on the packages. 1 is the worst, and 4 is the best. I make sure I always buy meat from Grade 4 livestock farming.
  8. How come? Also 20 mins is not enough to get into it.
  9. Same. And Ben Affleck was amazing in his role.

You can always go back to the roots.
  11. Louis Hofmann who played Jonas in Dark has been cast for a Netflix limited series based on Anthony Doerr's novel "All the light we cannot see", alongside Mark Ruffalo and Hugh Laurie. That's big. Really happy for him. He was great in Dark.
  12. I saw Roger Schmidt in Düsseldorf a couple of times. Shopping with his son. So he already lives here I reckon. Not far from Gladbach.
  13. Yea, that's some make up job. I recognized his voice right away though. Helps that I re-watched his dialogues and monologues in The Thin Red Line several hundred times.
  14. This looks huge with Julia Robert and Sean Penn in the starring roles. I thought it was a movie at first. Gaslit A modern take on the 1970s political Watergate scandal centering on untold stories and forgotten characters of the time.
  15. Anyone remember these back in the day?

I like it, and I don't like it. Are you eating on the floor with the cat? Why is the cat that close to the plate? Is the plate on the dining table and the cat is on the dining table? Why is there plastic wrap beneath the cat? I have so many questions.
  17. Just read about this. What a bunch of idiots whoever decided to sign the rapist.
  18. I thought the same! So apart from the story, it also looks like beautiful cinematography. Can't wait to watch it.
  19. After Yang @nudge I've read that it's a treat for Sc-Fi Fans. The trailer looks stunning.
