  1. It's not better, but it's not worse. There's been some howlers and real head-scratchers of decisions. But probably the best thing is that they've not been as regular. I think I remember last season there was a spate of embarrassing mistakes from referees/VAR officials for a good number of weeks.

    Cricket

RIP Very sad to hear, only 46.
  4. Nothing doing, fairly new build. Sellers leaving a lot of stuff too which is very handy. Large TV, washing machine, tumble dryer, carpets! Quite fortunate in that respect...
  5. For me, no. But for my missus yes. Exciting times indeed!

@Rab you free to help a brother out?
  7. Basically contracts have been exchanged between sellers and buyers (via solicitors). And as that's the case, we're now legally bound to proceed with the purchase and sellers with the sale. So deposit paid and the next step is completion. Completion basically being the stage where you pick up the keys and physically take ownership of the property.
  8. Indeed. He's quality but the performances of the last 6 months have been absolutely honking. Typically performances of a player that has had his head turned. Contract talks aside, I expected him to be more professional and not let that affect him for so long. It genuinely would have been better for him to say 'I'm leaving at the end of the season, I want to play in the Champions League, but I will give my all for Leicester for the rest of the season'. On the pitch before this contract stuff though, he's shown he can be class. Got a great eye for a pass, a calmness on the ball and loves a long-ranger. He's definitely good enough for a CL club and that level. Looks like he's running in treacle most of the time but he'll happily play a full 90 most games. It's actually mad how much he plays without a rest to be honest.
  9. If FM is anything to go by Romeo Lavia is meant to be pretty good too.
  10. Exchanged on our house today. Completion next Friday

    Euro 2024

I like the look of Group C's fixtures.
  12. And most of the red wall didn't even have elections to vote on I think?
  13. Always a lot of feistiness in the game, and lots of drama. I'll go 4-2 Spurs.
  14. Why would you bring Sane back? He didn't want to be at City any more did he?
  15. Despite the mixed results across England, it's a big statement to take such big names in London. It's not the be-all and end-all as there's still plenty of work, but wrestling that kind of control from the Tories plays in to Labour's hands massively. Coupled with Lib Dems making gains, the secret pact (!!!!) seems like it's taking form. It's a positive turning point on the face of it - just hope that momentum sticks with them over the next couple of years. Surprised West Oxfordshire was taken from the Tories. That's a big loss as well in a heartland for them.
  16. Labour bagging Barnet, Wandsworth and Westminster is huge.
