  1. Would have been a bit odd expanding the ground without knowing when fans would be back though. Training ground was in the planning for a good few years so I guess they took the sensible option. I'd also imagine that work on expanding the ground will probably occur even when fans have come back to the stadium. And perhaps finished in summer ready for next season.

just get a Travelodge/Holiday Inn/Premier Inn etc if it's just for one night. Guessing you're gonna be hammered so only need somewhere to sleep!
  3. About £400-500 average. I'm guessing the club are somewhat cautious to not go too big/far too soon just in case we have a bit of a downfall once it is in place. Like Newcastle, Leeds, Sunderland, Villa - massive stadiums in lower divisions isn't the best. Our owners have always been shrewd but at the same time, don't do things by half so while it may seem small in number, I'm guessing/hoping the actual facilities and quality of it won't be shit.
  4. Continuing to go up in the world. Talk of a stadium expansion has been realistically spoken about since promotion in 2014. Then put on hold due to covid in 2020. Now it looks like things will continue to progress. https://twitter.com/LCFC/status/1420277932824698880?s=19 Increase to 40k. Hotel nearby. Multi-purpose arena next to it as well. A real investment in to the area as well as the stadium.
  5. Lee Carsley appointed U21 coach. Ashley Cole also.
  6. should be higher on the list. Rubbish.

I won a bottle of prosecco and beers for winning singles game. The host we had was great as well, really good fun. If we do a TF365 meet up (ever), it'd be a great option.

Went to play Footgolf for the first time today. Loved it. Great fun. Would do it again. Popped my quad though half way through so probably won't be doing it any time soon!
  14. Son signs new contract. Taking the money that will be left when Kane leaves.

The graphics on screen are fucking shit though. Not a fan of the concept of the 5 balls/over, even though the term 'over' isn't applied. The random 'stay at the same end' bowling is pointless, too.
  17. I know he's totally irrelevant now but it is very, very satisfying to see Tommy Robinson have to fork out £100k in damages to a Syrian refugee following his court case today.
  18. I only caught the tail-end of this post and lost interest.
  19. it's been 18 minutes now and I'm really worried what he's got himself into...
  20. The sense of taste/smell thing isn't a guarantee you have/don't have COVID. As in, you don't have to lose it to be carrying the virus. Best just to take a test to be sure in any case.
  21. Firstly - take a test! It's best to be sure. If you think you have symptoms it's best to stay inside until you know you've not got it (tested negative). Secondly - you won't be allowed to attend a vaccination centre if you have symptoms and/or test positive. Thirdly - IMO it's quite clear that the vaccine is having a big say in preventing severe illness or worse, death. So for me, the risk of not taking the vaccine outweights the risk of actually getting the virus that the vaccine is purely designed to protect from. Fourthly - could it just be a bit of dehydration because of the major heat and temperatures we're experiencing here?
