Okay Joe, time to get out. You've had your fun in the sun.
  2. Reminds me of a scene in The Crown where they depicted the moon landings in 1969. Prince Philip was stunned, knew how important it was and the significance of it. The magnitude of the achievement but this wasn't reciprocated by his family. And he would urge them to watch it and take it all in. He realised it was a momentous occasion in history and would look back on it as such. What you describe there is pretty much similar! Seeing such clear pictures of another planet is phenomenal and should never be understated or underappreciated. I wish we could see more!
  3. Might just look like an open barren surface but this is actually so cool seeing the surface and climate in such detail, and with sound!
  4. Guerrero should be behind bars right now.

Root is elite. In hot form right now. Didn't even look close to getting him out today. Glad we got the wicket right at the end of Sibley though. England look strong to get 450+ here.
  6. I was surprised at this bit. I'd have thought it is an exception. One game.
  7. What did he say? Great start to the season considering you went ages not playing while others had already started.
  8. Not a good week for Ajax so far...
  9. Have it in a neutral venue where it's not a country on the blacklist they currently have. (I'm not sure how many countries they've banned travel from).
  10. Sorry @nudge @Cazza @Catsmother. @Danny isn't very inclusive these days.
  11. Shall we put it to the test (Thanks!)
  12. I've never heard of this hierarchy thing. What happened?
  13. Fair, I was hasty with the WUM comment! Just thought it was being ignored that any other side had injuries too and it's not just Liverpool that suffers I still stand by the fact that saying other clubs having injuries isn't downplaying what Liverpool go through. Liverpool have a lot of injuries. Not the most. Liverpool have injuries to key players - but if you're including players like Keita and Matip in the list, then it's fair to say that other clubs' injuries have some kind of relative importance to those clubs, too. Take the example earlier for Southampton - Romeu, Walker-Peters, Vestergaard all out for them currently. Are they not key players for Southampton that they're missing? They're important for Southampton as much as Van Dijk, Gomez, Mane are for Liverpool. From my perspective, your key, important players you're missing long term are Van Dijk, Gomez and Jota (given his influence). Fabinho, Alisson, Mane are not long-term to my knowledge (happy to be proven wrong). I don't see anyone down-playing what Liverpool are going through. Saying every club/vast majority have them isn't downplaying, it in my opinion. If anything it makes it even more important and a reflection of the bigger picture - COVID-impacted season so far, several games crammed in, very hectic period of the football calendar, lack of proper pre-season. All of this culminating in a lot of injuries. That's not downplaying it - it shows the severity of the situation for Liverpool and other clubs.
  14. True. In Leicester my 93y/o gran only just received her vaccine last week, and then I saw a headline in one of the local news pages there that they're now offering over 70's a vaccine . Good point. I guess at the time of giving them the vaccine, left-over or not, they must have their details taken and they get given the card to keep as proof they were given it. So with that, they are given a date 12 weeks in to the future?
  15. Heard about left-over vaccines quite a lot, all at the end of the day. I'm not so fussed about it really - it prevents wastage and at least more of the population get vaccinated, albeit not in the right priority. But as long as the vast majority of the priority categories get vaccinated - which is happening - I don't see much of an issue.
  16. Man City's have bossed it over the past month and a bit, but their next 4-6 weeks look interesting. Just come through an easy period of games (for the most part), aided by their welcome break thanks to COVID... Next league games being: LIverpool away Spurs home Arsenal away West Ham home Man Utd home Plus the first leg against Gladbach in CL and away FA Cup game vs Swansea (which they will most likely win both). I can't see them winning all the league games though. Might not pull away as much as many expect after a good run of form... (prepared for @Happy Blue to say they'll come out of this period of games with a 100% record )
  17. Can't change the goalposts. First we're talking injuries so far across the season, now it's only season-ending, long-term injuries? We had Ndidi, Castagne, Soyuncu out for best part of 3 months since September, Pereira only just coming back since March
