All fair points. You've had your CBs out which is huge. But I've not seen anyone say it's normal. It's just a shit season for a lot of clubs. That, to me, is not normalising it. We've had Pereira, Soyuncu, Castagne, Vardy, Ndidi, Fofana, Maddison, Praet out at some point this season, some of them concurrently. So if you don't recall any other side being hit as hard, I think you're not paying enough attention to anyone else but Liverpool

I think expecting Matip to play any kind of run of games is over-expecting, in my opinion, so it's hardly that much of a bad break not seeing him play several games in a row.
