    Congrats @Spike and good luck
  3. Such a slimy cunt. How he answers this is quite telling anyway. Dodges the question so badly.
  4. It's disgusting. No surprise there's links to the company responsible for providing these to a Tory donor (also a big-game hunter but that's cunty on a separate level). There seems to be no end on how this government will just fuck up the lives of so many, more at the poorer end of the scale as you say. They literally do not give a shit about anyone but themselves. As long as they're fine, that's all that matters. Let everyone else struggle.

Okay is Paine taking the piss
  6. Season start delayed Melbourne and Shanghai postponed. Melbourne moved to later in the year. Imola added. Shanghai re-arranged date still TBC.
  7. What's the restaurant? If it's anything like him, I wonder how long it takes to get any service when you're there ...

From what I've seen in this series (and plenty of other Tests as well) is that they've been more exciting than T20s/ODIs I've watched as well. Gripping and pulsating!

Managed to watch until lunch when we got to 190-2. Genuinely surprised to wake up to a draw! Feel for Pant not getting the ton! Deserved it. You'd have liked him 'opening up a bit' @Devil-Dick Willie Think Paine dropped 2 catches in the session I saw, think both were Pant, too. Considering we've lost Jadeja and no Kohli, plus Pant and Vihari playing with injuries, we've done amazingly to get a result from it, and to only be 70 odd away from actually winning. Pretty damn good considering how we lost the first test. Great stuff. Can't wait for the decider. Apparently Australia haven't lost a test match there in 32 years...

I couldn't have envisaged analogising that example any better. I even did the head-nod and finger-pointing for the India bit
  13. @Dan @...Dan Looks like Slimani may be heading to Lyon. Not sure if loan or transfer, presumably the former as his deal with us runs out in summer anyway so will go on a free. I know Dembele is about to leave but surely he won't be the replacement? Totally different strikers and doesn't fill the gap Dembele will leave behind...
  14. Yeah noticed the government have changed the wording about 2m being 'offered' the vaccine as opposed to uptake of it.

Mainly. I get it's all sweeping generalisations but the fact there's articles about it would hint majority of it can be applied. I'd say Indians are generally far too opinionated which lends it's way to being too argumentative as well. Once an Indian has their mind on something, it needs a very strong argument to turn the head. You can multiply that by some amount when it comes to the intense nature of sport. Very driven, very passionate and at times arrogant. (I'm aware there's Indians on here who aren't like that and perfectly fine folk! Hence the comment about it being sweeping generalisations).
  16. @carefreeluke did you get covered in snow in Seville? Saw that Madrid and Valencia got absolutely covered, apparently the worst storm for Spain in decades?!
