  1. Tottenham play today, Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday. 4 games in 7 days. Busy start!
  2. You still see what I do but I don't know if it's available outside of the UK
  3. If anyone (in the UK) watches Council House Britain, you'll get a lovely insight in to the kind of job I have to do!
  4. In all seriousness, you're very much welcome to join any/all of these competitions @fearfull!
  5. @CaaC (John) newcomers are allowed but have to swap for the person who recommended them...
  6. Utter stupidity encountered in Reading yesterday. Went to their shopping centre with the missus. There's clear signs (several) near the lifts which say 'One household/family/couple' per lift. Simply because they're not that big anyway and it's just sensible. We get in and then 3 other people follow us in. We say to them, politely, 'sorry it's just one household or couple per lift'. They didn't seem to hear us so we said it again. They turned around and got out but we heard them say 'everyone is so scared of this bloody Coronavirus'. Couldn't believe it, as if it's not caused a panedmic or killed 40,000+ people, or left people suffering after they have it. Oh, and to make it even more stupid/hilarious, the guy who said it was wearing a fucking mask . What are you wearing a mask for you absolute pleb if you don't think it'll do you any harm? Why do you feel the need to wear the mask if you're not 'scared' of COVID too ?
  7. Welcome to the forum @fearfull! Your thoughts on Soyuncu/Under as our Turkish contingent at Leicester... How do you think Fenerbahce will fare this season?
  8. That's gonna piss off the government who were kicking up a fuss the other day about people getting tests when it wasn't necessary, even if they did come in to contact with someone who had it. Now the CDC confirm that's what should be done anyway Clusterfuck. The government just care about themselves and their paychecks. I know that's nothing new, but it's now clearer than it ever has been just how much of selfish group of pricks they are. They don't care about anyone else.
  9. Buying players to improve squad depth?! Surely not ?!

    Cooking

Cooked some chicken fajitas last night with some peppers. Quite simple but turned out good. Gave it some Indian spice too of course. Nice.
  11. Rees-Mogg saying 'everyone needs to stop carping on' about lack of testing. Shameful irresponsibility from him when his own PM/Health Sec/Test & Trace boss said people should get tested if they come in to contact with someone that is positive even if they didn't have symptoms. That slimy toad proper gets on my nerves. They all do to be fair. Just an air of smug contempt about them and it's fucking disgusting.
  12. You must have had fuck loads way before the title surely?
  13. No wonder new buildings are in shit condition. All the workers are fucking high
  14. Tim Sherwood knows fuck all. He's an absolute melt.

In the donators sub-forum he's created a thread saying he'll have to leave because of his scouting and music career.
  17. I think you overestimate those kinds of players. Brewster might go out on loan, right? Matip always injured (how would he start for most clubs?). Milner literally in the final years of his career. Ox buddies up with Matip in the physio room too regularly. Relying on those for depth in case the regular starting XI get injured? Risky. That leaves Fabinho, Tsimikas, Origi, Minamino, Jones and some youngsters. @Cicero brought up a perfect example of spending small amount to beef up the squad. I doubt he's on a lot at Man City even if they do spend obscene amounts generally. Why would you think he doesn't get in to your team? It's about depth of the squad, no? Not everyone you sign has to be a starting player? If you don't know what some people expect then you can't have been reading any of our posts . Just to clarify, no-one is expecting you to break the bank and/or bankrupt the club. It really isn't unreasonable to spend small amounts on good players that could fit in to your team and that Klopp would get to sync in to the current squad. There are bargains out there. Good deals for players that can work in a squad. Wijnaldum was only £15m (??) and look how good he has turned out to be. Same with Robertson.
  18. Not ignored. No-one is saying to spend obscene amounts of money. Like mentioned above (that's been ignored?), you don't need to spend ridiculous amounts and no-one is expecting that? Also, you've just won the league and Champions League, and are one of the biggest clubs in the world. COVID has had an affect on literally every single club but let's not act like Liverpool are skint and can't afford anything.
