  1. Yeah saw that a few hours ago. Quite shocked really and didn't think he was as old as 59. RIP.
  2. Then the teaching needs to change/improve. And that takes time. We can all look back in hindsight and say this should have been done before. Maybe it was but not to a good enough standard. So you learn from it going forward...
  3. 45 goals scored in National League so far and still 20+ mins to go in all the games.
  4. @CaaC (John) we can safely presume that for the next 12 months there'll be rain in Scotland
  5. @LFCMadLad the key point/word is 'implemented'. Yes it may have been thought about for years but it's actually only been in practice for 6 months. Everything else before that is all, as you say, research or theory.
  6. Yeah ignore me. I thought his Wiki might not have been updated.
  7. Wait is that the Dale Jennings that was once of Bayern 'fame'!?
  8. Absolute madness how she kept trying to defend it by repeating the same bloody thing. 'because it's more!' 'But how? How is it more?' 'Because there's going to be 50,000 more!' 'It's 31,000 more and 19,000 retained'. 'it's 50,000 more nurses'. 'How?' 'there's 50,000 more nurses'
  9. You're taking the wrong part of the move in to account. It was Jimenez who was called offside, not Jota. Jimenez was not onside by 3 yards and if anything it just looked really tight. Obviously it's shit that they got some wrong? I'm not saying otherwise. But all you seem to do is moan about the wrong decisions as if VAR never gets anything right.
  10. @LFCMadLad what say you of the decisions that VAR got right this weekend? Watford vs Burnley - Barnes fouled in the box, missed by the ref. Play continues until there's a stoppage. Incident looked at. Decision correctly overturned and penalty to Burnley given. Palace vs Liverpool - Tomkins goal. VAR check shows Ayew pushes Lovren. Goal correctly disallowed due to a foul/infringement in the build-up to the goal. Brighton vs Leicester - Vardy penalty missed. Maddison heads in. VAR check for encroachment shows Maddison was just inside the box and therefore header is disallowed. Correct decision for penalty to be retaken.
  11. Sorry but outing Priti Patel for her insensitive comments is not part of a 'labour echo chamber'. Outing Rachel Riley for her actions also isn't either. Got nothing to do with supporting Labour. Just saying how I see it. Even if I wasn't Labour, I'd still be severely worried by seeing that. Do you think what they said/did were positive?
  12. Swinson was terrible. No substance. No style. Johnson was disastrous - bumbling idiot. As per. Genuinely barely answered any question that was posed. Corbyn was decent. Missed Sturgeon but heard she was good. Format was decent. Stopped all of them talking over each other as we usually see on some debates.
  13. By the way, the article states he said he never considered leaving but if you look at the quotes in the article, no mention of those words
  14. But he literally said 'there's nothing to talk about it'. Where does he say he was in contention for it
  15. Notoriously cheap but just forked out to pay Mourinho about £15m/year if some reports are to go by?! If other reports are to go by, Spurs had been looking for up to a month to replace Pochettino. I don't get why it's so outlandish to want a manager at a club and for that club to say 'nah, go look for someone else'. I really don't see the problem with the Rodgers quotes either. It's quite obvious he's been asked about the Spurs links. It's not like he's just started a press conference with those quotes
  16. Spurs made an approach. We told them to do one.
  17. so fucking backwards, that.
