It's always a bit annoying when you get a dodgy decision go for you. Leaves a question mark next to the win. That being said there was plenty of time left in the match. It would be different if it was a 90th minute equaliser. England might have won it anyway, we will never know. Apparently the var official they used is very trusted. I don't think it would of been a penalty in the Premier league but Europe on generally less lenient on penalties than England so maybe it was.

I'm not saying southgate is an elite manager I'm just saying if we had an elite manager I don't think kane would be dropped so I can understand Southgate sticking with him. Labour have discussed what they want to do about workers rights. It seemed good we'll see what happens. Unlike a lot of people I've got mixed feelings about 0 hour contracts. They can allow exploitation. Essentially you can work for a company for years and then they can just not give you anymore hours anymore. But they do allow people pick up shifts at a second job when they need them and they allow students to get work when they need it. Maybe you could make it law that they can only be used for a certain amount of time and then hours have to be guaranteed I don't know. However if you need some work but need it to be flexible there are agencies.(which although are 0 zero hour contracts they are a different kind of contract and won't be banned) That's what I do. But then agency staff cost more so will that put prices up? Be interesting to see what they do.

Not this tournament no. I think over the course of his tenure he's done OK. But not this tournament. If England had been loosing to Slovakia but they were really pressing you could argue he's played a part in helping with belief and determination and substitutions etc but it was our first shot on target. It was due to Bellinghams individual brilliance that got us through I think. At the same time though by using the same logic you can't blame southgate when an England player makes a poor simple pass or similar mistake. Some of the passing by England has been terrible. And that is nothing to do with formation or tactics I don't think

I was talking to someone last night about this. Not saying it'd gonna happen but wondered what people's thoughts are. Hyperthetically say pep says he will manage England but we will have to wait a year. Could we put in a temporary manager for a year while we wait for pep or is it to risky. @The Palace Fan Have you seen the mjf heel turn? I know you said you don’t watch aew much anymore but I got the impression you watch bits of it. I thought it was done brilliantly personally. And the way he squared up to two fans was great. I never realised that was actually real before. I thought they arranged with a fan to do it.
