  1. Yeah what I meant is the term bully doesn't mean anything. Most dogs can be aggressive if you don't train them properly I would imagine yeah. As I said from what I have heard they are very loyal and so very easy to make aggressive. I would imagine though that a lot of people have them for protection. Which probably makes the amount of attacks disproportionate. However I do think the ban is right from what I have read.
  2. What about it? I know its a banned breed but what is your point ?
  3. Bully is normally a term for a bull dog I think. Not all bull dogs are dangerous. Staffies are very friendly dogs. As I said they can be tamed but they are very easy to make aggressive. Most dogs aren't naturally aggressive
  4. It's not genetically aggressive. I was just reading about it. It's genetically very loyal however. Which makes it very easy to manipulate to be aggressive. It's also very strong. Also a lot of people get it for protection. So overall there probably is enough reason to ban the breed from what I have read.
  5. Well that's not true. Like I said if people train them to be aggressive then that means the dog is not an issue it's the owners. However if they are to strong and powerfull for a domestic pet that would be cause for a ban as well. Like I said I don't have all the facts so I don't know
  6. So do you think about the xl bully ban? Personally I think you have to look at the facts. One thing that I thought is that alot of people buy certain dogs and train them to be aggressive. Those breeds tend to be strong dogs. So it's not necessarily the dog breed it's the owners. And if you ban the dog those people will just get another strong dog and train them to be aggressive. Like I said though I do think you have to look at the facts. If the dog is naturally aggressive then it is a massive issue.
  7. Personally I love netflix. With all the choice on there you only have to watch about 1% of it to get value for money. Maybe it doesn't have some of the great shows that some networks have but I can normally find something to watch and if I really want to watch something I just get the dvd so best streaming service for me.
  8. I think we win on the weekend. Will be tough though but I fancy us at home. Noticed @CaaC (John) regularly predicts us to loose still
  9. @Dr. Gonzo @Mel81x have either of you seen it? I have. Is it terrible? Yes Did I still like it? Yes Do I want to see the sequal? Yes
  10. @The Palace Fan were you able to see where you were sat? I had to watch most of it on the screen. I have thought about spending a bit more money next year and sitting near the front. The only issue is what happens if it rains. Anyway it was my first wrestling event and I loved it. I do intend to go to some independent shows. There is a south west promotion I'm thinking of going to. Also want to go to rev pro. I rewatched it on tv. I think the match quality was excellent. Would say it is aews best ppv so far.

So is that a yes they do need the protective gear?
  12. @Tommy to be honest if aliens were looking for intelligent life and made contact with the USA they would probably go home
  13. @Stan I hope I didn't come across as rude. I thought scientists thought there was intelligent life out there.
  14. We'll have to explain to them that Americans are primitive
  15. @nudge Had a quick Google. In the observable universe there are around 125 billion galaxies. Presumably there is more than the observable universe? I know scientists can't say something exists without proof. But from a mathematical perspective. Wouldn't it be more likely than not there is intelligent life? From what I understand the drake equation was only our galaxy? And its been pretty heavily criticised. Have scientists said they don't think there is intelligent life or that there is no evidence? Because saying there is no evidence and saying that they don't think it's likely are different things.
  16. Fair enough. But can we see all the stars in the universe? If there are trillions of planets and the odds of intelligent life forming are billions to one then doesn't that mean it's likely there is intelligent life? Also just done a quick Google isn't the drake equation just our galaxy?
  17. Fair enough. Like I say always go with the experts. I thought they thought there was.
  18. I'm pretty certain most scientists who study these kind of things think other life exiting is likely.
  19. Because your not a scientist but you are going against the scientific consensus. If you have trillions of planets and the odds of life forming is billions to one that makes it likely there is life out there. The chances of them coming to earth however is very unlikely due to reasons discussed with nudge. These things aren't really opinions they are looking at data and coming to the likely conclusion
  20. Yeah it's strange. Stans normally very rational but I think he's got this one wrong. There are so many stars and planets out there from what I gather most scientists think it's unlikely there isn't intelligent life out there
  21. I think your being irrational personally. Most scientists think there is intelligent life in the universe. It's been explained why aliens probably haven't come to earth. Seems strange to think it when scientists disagree
  22. I think Bryan Cox did a programme about it. I'm not sure if he suggested aliens might have made contact. Don't know why if he did
