I'm not saying they all would but I think some would. It does seem like some of them are in a cult and they don't seem to realise. I know a lot of psychologists have said trump is like a cult leader

It normally doesn't end well when clubs get managers which the fans didn't want. I've heard ex players say it creates an atmosphere around the stadium which doesn't help. Leicester getting Cooper probably wasn't a good idea. At the same time if the fans aren't gonna support the manager and it has a slight negative impact on the results that's partly their fault

Yeah maybe thats true. People do sometimes forget that we have more information available now. My auntie and dad once said that there were hardly ever any murders before. Even though the crime rates tell you per capita there are about the same amount of murders as before and there are people that went missing that were never found which is less common with modern technology. So there may have actually been more before. A bit of topic but you get my point

Do you think people on a whole are more opinionated now. I'm not one of those back in the good old days kind of people but one thing I would say may be worse now is people are more unaccepting of other peoples opinions. I think a lot of it may be social media. I haven't used social media for years. One thing I noticed when a stopped is how much less I cared what other people thought. Social media is full of people who are so argumentative and it turns people who aren't argumentative into argumentative people I think. Obviously there are cases where something is an objective fact and there are certain moral things that I personally think people should defend. What I mean is I don't think people should just tolerate people with racist views for example. I think it's OK not to just except people have a different view in cases like that. However a lot of the time people seem to be more self opinionated on things that don't matter. Like what good films or TV shows are etc. What do you think? Have people always been like that or are we getting worse?

There are some great matches on YouTube for when you need your wrestling fix. 3 matches I want to see before I die. Austin v Hart, omega v okada, and hogan v Andre. I don't think hogan v Andre was a great match from what I've heard but it's so iconic every wrestling fan should see it . Obviously the other 2 are considered two of the greatest matches ever.

@nudge. Random question. If the terminator hadn't been destroyed before Sarah Connor had John. Would it have figured out that it needed to kill John now and therefore override its programing?

It wasn't a bad away performance to be honest considering we had spurs on the weekend and have city this weekend. I thought they looked better than us in the second half and more likely to win. Despite being 0.0 I thought it was an interesting game tactically. It was always an issue when we didn't have the ball over the years. Arteta has improved is so well in that way I think.

I think the new format makes it more interesting. Obviously some teams will get easier draws but you could say that about the group stages. The only issue I have with it's that teams don't play home and away against the same teams

@Dave @Devil-Dick Willie Random question but do you ever take a break from wrestling? The thing with it is is it never stops. In football you get a break. When you watch a great TV show you get a break. But with wrestling you don't. Do you ever take a break from it for a few weeks or so?

Probably summer. Although with the job I do it can mean working in the mid 40s which is hard. A few years ago I saw someone leave some egg out and it cooked at room temperature

Is that dave meltzer? To be honest the people who don't like him seem to go on about it more than anyone. The thing is with his star system is he never watches the matches twice before giving the review. It's about how much he initially likes it. It's not a critical review where he watches it then re watches it takes notes etc. Basically it's a subjective review which is what he has actually said. I'm not aware of him saying that you have to agree with him. I watched a match in aew years ago. Anarchy arcade or something it was called. Loved it so if I had to give it a star rating I would probably give it 5 stars. But that's just an opinion. The match wasn't mentioned as a match of the year contender. Doesn't mean I can't like it. Same way that meltzer is allowed to say what he thinks of matches. Ironically the people that complain about him all the time are worse than him. They are trying to say they are right and that's that.

To be fair there were a lot of injuries. Danielson having his career on the line added to the match. I'm not to keen on career on the line matches unless the wrestler is going to retire. However people weren't sure if he was going to retire and it almost made it seem like a real sport. Me and the person next to me were hugging because Danielson wasn't retiring. He was pissed though ha ha. Mjf did do other things to be fair. He attacked fletcher and Oku. Speaking of Oku, he had a match before dynamite that wasn't shown in TV. He got a really good reception the crowd knew who he was. There are rumours he will be joining aew. If you ever get a chance go watch rev pro. The tickets can be as little as around £20. I'd go all the time if I lived in London.
