  1. I would agree if it was a random weak shot but the power of it made it look better apart from being on target, but I do agree on the goalkeeping. I'm sure he meant it but I don't think he expected it.
  2. Even if the goalkeeping was bad the strike was ridiculously precise for it to fly in like that. It was a proper thunderbastard.
  3. This aged fucking terribly.
  4. Senegal the favourites to win this I reckon. I've been very impressed with their individual and collective game here.
  5. Aggresive formation, but with discipline (besides the Badger anyways).
  6. That is my question as well. Hence why the criteria is unbalanced to me.
  7. Fox, Polar Bear or Hyena for me. The last one because they are scavengers, looking for errors to pounce on.
  8. Saw this on Twitter and thought it could be a fun debate. Formation - 4-3-2-1. Octopus Gazelle - African Elephant - Giraffe - Springbok Wildebeest - Arabian Horse Cheetah - Spider Monkey - Swordfish Polar Bear Octopus for reasons that don't need to be stated. Quick and working full backs with the Gazelle and Springbok. African Elephant for a strong and powerul center back with concentration. Giraffe to have a tall CB to accompany the Elephant. Might struggle with the dribbling though! Wildebeest as the box to box. Has stamina, can run a lot and has a killer instinct if need be. Arabian Horse as the defensive midfield to cover ground. Cheetah as the explosive winger and Swordfish who are not quite as fast but has a bigger killer instinct. Spider Monkey who can probably put in a long ball just as they can throw shit at far range. Polar Bear because they don't forgive. My subs would be Penguin (winger) for snow filled pitches. A slide on a wonky pitch will give extra speed. Walrus for the CB who might be a bit slow but is strong enough to impose taller forwards. Ostrich for the Horse, not as effective but can cover ground just as much. Baboons at Full Back sub, to get in bigger long throws. They are trained to throw poop, so they can probably throw a decent throw in. And a veteran Lion striker who only comes in when the team needs a leader. No birds allowed for this, unless flightless.
  9. The top 10 is all accurate I think. Son Heung Min and Kim Min Jae were clear of everyone else and Ronaldo has been very good and most of all PROFESSIONAL in Saudi Arabia. My only complaint with the list is the criteria that was picked, it feels they didn't know how to cast the players eligible for this sort of thing, but in terms of actual quality and performance, I have no complaints with the top 10.
  10. The list feels very unbalanced because they include Asian players in Asia and Europe and foreigners in Asia. However, if we're just looking for the best in that criteria, I don't think it's an unaccurate top 10. Looking at South Korea's squad, they have no excuse to not make the Asian Cup final, they have been so poorly coached through their history it is stupid.
  11. Tanzania are a growing football nation from what I’ve seen, but yeah I still think Morocco will be too much for them.
  12. For sure, I am pretty certain there are a lot of governments that prefer Taiwan but it just isn't worth losing the benefits with mainland China. They are just too powerful over tiny Taiwan. As for White Terror, that sounds like a worse version of the protests in the late 20th century in mainland China. No good guys in any of the governments then
  13. Gossip, you haven’t been on the discord in months. Anyways I’m not sure if they told you everything of what I said on there but it’s really annoying making any post and the same 3 people pouncing on any slight error to make me look worse. Every post of yours in here since mine has mentioned the draw thing I said. That is provocation. I don’t mind sticking around but it’s kind of hard when I get treated like that, with all due respect.
  14. Didn’t know I had to be mentioned to be provoked, there’s a thing called indirect provocation. Also “I’ll ban you in 5 minutes”. I never thought I’d see the day you became what you swore to destroy.
  15. You’re the one provoking me, maybe don’t push your luck if you don’t want me calling you that
  16. Kind of like how you didn't expect the Pogba thread to magically change back into clickbait, cunt.
  17. That sounds a lot like the China PR vs China (Taiwan) situation tbh.
  18. I don't think a keeper needs to make saves to be involved. I actually think before making good saves he needs to be secure in goal and not make any bonehead decisions. That said, he just made a top class save while typing. Clearly he's got quality on all fronts.
  19. Burkina Faso's keeper has surprised me to be honest, very secure in goal. He has the height and wingspan to stop low crosses easily, made a couple of good saves that were down to reflexes, and doesn't budge when he needs to stop high crosses. His positioning is good in that sense.
  20. Israel really do not help themselves do they? I try to justify both sides' actions by having some empathy on one of them losing land unjustly and the other side having a group of people who would have gotten killed wherever they went. Politics or politicians really only care for their best interests as obvious as that sounds.
  21. I’m not good at catching these indirect responses but today is a bad day after I’ve had some issues with a camera I ordered a long time ago. Sorry if my reactions are a bit out of place but I’m not in the mood for this and especially not today.
  22. Way to move the goalposts to make yourself look better after your fucking shit show earlier - and I standby that the quality feels a bit better, or more watchable at least.
