  1. I'll cover for you Nudge. Just paid my monthly price.
  2. Venezuela still on top. The one that surprised me was Colombia, I didn't think they had more than Mexico and Brazil.

Did you? I don't see anything.
  4. Everyone criticizes me and a friend who is at Sporting Cristal when they don't know what happens behind the scenes. Football is entertainment so people love gossip and theorizing. I'm slowly getting used to it.

I've had a bad day. I work in youth football and found an incredible 13 year old from Callao (the same region as my club). He's gonna be a professional because he's extremely good, I'm sure of that. However, last minute his mother canceled because the 2010's train at a school which doesn't allow the entrance of parents. For those who don't know, thanks to the crime rates, the schools here are extremely strict on who is allowed in. Even the other workers are not allowed in, just the coaches and the players. I'm peeved because I was excited on what he could give on trial. We're not gonna give up but it feels like we've just lost a huge talent for external reasons.
  6. This is normal. I work in football and for everyone I'm shite. I don't deserve to have a job in football and don't know what I'm doing, yet here I am doing stuff behind the scenes that get me praised at work and at my 4th club, 3rd domestic after working once in Mexico. Just the nature of football fans to be honest. It can get annoying but everyone is allowed to have an opinion.
  7. The Peru vs Venezuela game tonight could potentially become a massive news story. Like I said in the other thread, the police are doing a border control at the stadium, and there is a slight possibility we have a lot of deportations tonight. This doesn't look like it will end well.
  8. To the surprise of absolutely nobody, we beat TNS to reach the CL groups (or league whatever the new format is called).
  9. Surely this can't be my CL playoff tie
  10. Won the league in Romania for the 2nd time in a row.
  11. WorkTheSpace also left his job for FM. He's one I enjoy watching. Youtube gives you good pay these days, the tough part is getting to that point.
  12. Nicolas Maduro is absolutely scamming them
  13. This is spot on, hence why I said I have empathy because not only are they going into barrios in other countries, they are also on the end of xenophobia because of what the worst Venezuelans have left there. For example here in Peru, Venezuelans have less chance of work. Same goes for Chile.
  14. More context - this comes from Ecuador and Peru agreeing to deport Venezuelans into Colombia, but the president of a Venezuelan company in Ecuador accuses us of xenophobia. I hate to say it, but the Venezuelans have done this to themselves. I should mention Lima only has 8 mafias, only 1 is actually Peruvian itself. All the rest are Colombian or Venezuelan, and the latter have started to dominate parts of the cities. I feel genuinely sorry for the people who actually come here for a better life, I know a lot of great Venezuelans, but the case is just beyond help at this point. It's actually made our own criminals look like saints. I especially have empathy for the new Venezuelans coming in because they are often pushed to the side because of xenophobia and they don't have a choice but to rely on becoming thieves. The mafia's have left that reputation here and in Chile.
  15. Well, we've started the deportation of many Venezuelans in Peru, just as Chile had done months earlier. Already creating trouble in Ecuador. It is unbelievable what Chavismo has transformed the Venezuelan class into. Truly the fall of a once great and prosperous nation.
  16. Sure My latest trip to Iquitos (for the 4th time this year) which is in the heart of the Peruvian amazon. One I took at 6 AM. When I became king of the Bora group. Here with a parrot. Tried to give it food and it told me to fuck off. The trip before that I did Tacna and Arequipa... For those in the discord group, they know I had issues in Arequipa cos I had the worst bathroom in the world. I lost the photo but @Tommy and @Toinho can preach As for the actual trip... Santa Catalina Monastery. At the Peru/Chile/Bolivia triborder a good 4 hours away from Tacna. Took an expensive cab there since there is no other proper way to get there, 4400 metres above sea level. Altitude was draining, but it was worth it for this statue. The town itself was called Tripartito, unfortunately one of the poorest towns in the country. Also made it to Chile, the second last South American country I had left to visit. Now only Paraguay is left. This one on the Tacna/Arica border. And Tacna itself, who are not the prettiest town but one of the cleaner and easier cities to live in here in Peru thanks to the low crime, non-existent traffic and relatively easy living conditions barring the water cuts from time to time.

I just messaged my therapist, and I think I have the problem pinpointed and it's that my mind attacks me when bored, which is very often because I don't seem to enjoy doing anything non-productive or social, and that's something I want to rework. I used to love Video Games and Movies, now I don't because I don't feel like I gain anything from them.
