NXT used to be VERY good. It was a platform for the developmental guys, and a stop for veterans joining the company to get used to doing things the WWE way and get some momentum for 6-12 months before joining the main roster. Show was one hour a week, wrestling driven story lines. The answer to your question is that it's because Vince isn't involved. It was HHHs baby. Now it's a 2 hour show and more sports entertainmenty. He's just saying it for clicks. No one thinks the guy who beat Alvarez and Aldo is a bum. Connor is one of the best boxers ever to step into the octagon. Even though he's overhyped for his antics and stuff he's way better in his own division than say, a Masvidal or Nate, both of whom are massively overrated due to their popularity.

5 years back Bullet club were the biggest thing in wrestling. AJ styles was the groups leader, though it was Finn Balor who started the bullet club with the good brothers, GOD and Bad Luck Fale. Omega was the jnr weight The Bucks were the jnr tag specialists GOD and good brothers were the tag teams. Other members include Adam Cole, Cody Rhodes, hangman and Marty Scurll. Then, with no warning, Cody, Omega, Hangman and the Bucks all left NJPW to form a self indulgent wrestling company. Hence why there's no love between NJPW and AEW.

Okay @Stan @SpikeWTF. Is this a culture thing? W-o-g in Australia is a term (not considered racist) for anyone ranging from Italian to Turkish. Just wester european. Even if you take out the flippy indie trash who can't actually work Young Bucks, FTR, LAX, Best friends, SCU, are all great. Jurassic express (minus the dweeb) and even private party have potential in bags. Then Dustin/QT and Jericho/Hager are solid throw ins. In NJPW Roppongi 3k, GOD, Dangerous Tekkers and Desperado/Kanemaru are the only 4 dedicated tag teams to shout about. Everyone else is just singles stars thrown together. (and dangerous tekkers is basically that anyway) WWE has penty of great tag teams, and beats AEW if you combined them, but they're all split up and/or doing dumb shit Miz/Morrison, UE, Lorchan and Birch, Moustache mountain, Imperium, New day, Street Prophets, Breezango, Hurt business ect if combined would be no 1.

Sharma is so naturally gifted, but just doesn't have the temperament for test cricket IMO. Opener is probably the best spot to have a dude who consistently faces 70 deliveries and scores 40 runs however. Well, that or number 7. I hope there's rain on Monday, so damn much. Match drawn, India retain.
