No one reading this is American lol.

If it's the false equivalency, you got me, but I'll stand by the overall point. The best player is the player who plays the best. Not the player who plays good twice.

I have a huge gripe about Hunter being the potential Heisman winner. Jeanty is putting up never before seen stats and dominating games. Hunter is neither a top 5 WR or a top 10 CB. He is the gridiron version of a cricket allrounder who wouldn't be picked for his batting OR bowling but plays at 7 or 8 because he can do a bit of both. I understand it's unique to play on both sides of the ball in skill positions, but Christ, best overall college player? Not even close.
  5. Choosing to bowl at the Gabba should be punishable by drowning.
  6. It is unbelievably easy to reduce and possibly if being conservative with it, remove exploitation altogether.
  7. I worked at a nursing home for years. Anyone who says they don't support assisted dying, send them on a trip to the local high care dementia wing of a nursing home. Literal prisoners in their own body, scrunched up in the same position, unable to move, just able to blabber and eat slop. No way to die.
  8. You know how we know the Trump appointed AG is a pedo? Because the document that would either incriminate or exonerate him is being withheld. If it exonerated him, it would have been made public. If AEW was profitable, they wouldn't keep their financials a secret.
  9. You can only have 1 of these. He's either leading a dogshit enterprise that is losing daddies money because it is too engaged in it's niche and has only gradually lost audience over time, or appealing to his core fan base is the key to success and ongoing prosperity (hint it's the first one).
  10. Great. You keep 500k people happy, and the rest of the world discontent. Also yes, they book like dogshit, and they have many more issues, but airing toddlers as threats has always been a big sticking point too when it comes to the general public, which is, you know, the audience they need to appeal to for growth and ratings.
  11. The thing about men refusing to give up their position next to an obstacle as a dominance struggle is universal and well recorded you silly twat hahahaha.
  12. You're both also missing the (literal) elephant in the room. Look at UFC PPV numbers and look at their main and co main events. For some reason, probably involving homoeroticism, people specifically want to watch BIG men wrestle and fight. This is true across all combat sports. AEW has never embraced this and will continue to struggle as long as it goes ignored. There is a reason there are many talented wrestlers who weren't welcome in the big time. They're tiny and the general public audience doesn't care to see them.
  13. Here we fucking go, the resident cynic is here to point out the behaviors that make me want to king hit people. 1. Parking your fat ass, trolley, kids or conversation in the middle of a supermarket isle, doorway, or other public thoroughfare. Pretty simple. If you bump into uncle Dick and aunt Fanny in the supermarket, don't block the entrance to the supermarket, or anyone of the isles with your stupid fucking conversation about how Jenny and the kids are doing. Move to some nook or low traffic area. 2. Talking down to staff in restaurants, shops or public service providers. Everyone, on earth, at age 16 or so, should have to work at Mcdonalds or in a call center for a month. Just to learn the lesson that these people are human and need to be treated with the same dignity as everyone else. 3. The passing male dominance dance For some stupid reason there is a biological imperative fixed in men that when 2 men approach each other near a wall or corner, that the one who gives way to the other is somehow losing in a competing dominance hierarchy. You can literally feel it as you approach and can feel it as you either win or lose the unspoken battle. I do engage in this one myself, and have literally had to shove cunts (generally dickheads in their 40s who are past their 'prime' who can't accept the fact I don't respect them as a physical threat or threat to my 'masculine aura') and I hate it, but unless all of us drop the issue at the same time it will never go away.
  14. Spoilers for plot and ending of TWBB
  15. It's very dark and intense, I have seen it 3 or 4 times now in my life, and it's a masterpiece. The book is brilliant too, but I think the film is better.
  16. There will be blood: 2007. 10/10 An phenomenal film, no single aspect could likely be improved upon in any way. Solid contender for the best put together film of all time. No country for old men: 2007 9.5/10 Another absolute masterpiece, watched them back to back. One of the most thrilling, tense films put to screen.
  17. Yeah daily and oft multiple times daily. I do mix in vegetarian meals here and there, but they are the exception. I'd say that of the 14 non breakfast meals I have per week that a good 8-10 or so involve meat. Probably 60-70% white meat.
  18. Weird, the actuary and (hopefully as of the 28th) finance and business analytics major agree that there's no real problem here, when right wing UK reactionaries and media think is the worst thing to hit the UK since the blitzkrieg.
  19. @Gunnersaurus I was called and will answer. Like @nudge UK agricultural issues aren't exactly in my thoughts, but good economic policy oft is. So there is currently a rule that prevents farmers paying inheritance tax on their property, and that is being rolled back to cover only the first 1 million pounds of value on the farm land. Beyond that, they will pay tax on 50% of the remaining value, at a rate of 20% (instead of 40%) that can be paid over 10 years interest free. Additionally, you get 500k nil rate inheritance that stacks on tip of that, which is also per person mind you, so a farmer with 2 owners would be completely tax free at even a value of 3 million if it had 2 owners. That is an ABSURDLY gentle tax on a high value productive asset. Tell your farmers to fuck off.
  20. Uhhhhhhh, like every striker in the world ever? If a player doesn't get the ball he doesn't impact games much. Absolute revelation.
  21. She hasn't retired from shit.
  22. It's a bit.
  23. So now you're literally arguing for MORE regulation. While I agree that there needs to be more regulation regarding ownership, player contracts, wages, fees, agents, 3rd party deals ect, and agree that FFP is better at keeping the nerds out of the treehouse than it is at creating any kind of 'level' playing field, this is literally the opposite of your first post where you argue for less regulation 'because regulation makes loopholes' when in fact, the problem is clearly UNDER regulation.
  24. What a brainless statement. Less regulations would mean more loopholes, or, more pointedly, just holes. Regulation makes systems function. I never jump in my car for a drive somewhere and think "man I wish driving was less regulated". Despite it being a system where who can and can't drive, what you can and cant drive, what direction, route and speed ect is regulated.
  25. Of course if it was a right wing football team choosing not to use a left wing social media platform they'd be 'exercising their rights' and 'sensibly walking away'. X is just bots and russians now. Who the fuck wants to use it no matter your political opinions?
