  1. Barbados would be great. Are we all invited? Hopefully there are no more COVID set backs now and everything goes as planned.
  2. Yeah I've been before. I went in 2011 with a lass I was seeing at the time but it would be nice to explore the city properly rather than just spend most of your time at a bench or in restaurants and bars and i'll probably visit Torremolinos and Benalmadena while there as I've never been to either and they are only down the road. It should also still be decent weather there. You should have booked it for a few weeks time mate instead of next year, you must be itching to go somewhere now! Yeah, the ash is always problematic when it comes to flying, just like the one in Iceland those years ago. You should come and join me the week after Inga
  3. I'm off to Málaga in 9 days . I was thinking the Canaries but it's risky due to the volcano in La Palma, it may end up affecting flights to all the islands due to the ash. But it should still be warm in Andalucía. 20-25 degrees or so I'm guessing. Italy is on my list though, as I've never been to Italy.

What an idiot, loading that much weight on there. Fucking hell. Saying that, I wouldn't have expected it to collapse like that
  5. Cheers mate. Everything is straight forward now. I saw they were offering test kits on easy jet bit wanted to.make sure. Have a good one also pal and make sure to get some pictures of the pyramids if you visit them and post them on here!
  6. Is it possible to do the test at home though isn't it? I was thinking of doing it at Manchester airport myself, although it's about 50 mile away so it would be a ballache going back there 2 days later. Are you thinking of going back to Cambodia or somewhere else?
  7. I'm just going to wait now until the 4th and make sure it's not on the red list, then book it. The problem is, there might not be flights by then. But I'll work something out. When this pandemic is truly over, we need to hit Latin America, I'm being serious as well When you take the test on arrival back to the UK, do you order it and take it at home?
  8. Will that test be when you come back then? As for the forms you fill out, I had to fill those out when I went to Dam last August and that's straight forward enough. I'm going to wait until October either way to make sure it's on the green/amber list. It's a shame not to be able to book it now though as I've seen flights at £17 going there and 30 coming back!
  9. I have proof of vaccination and have the form saved ready. It's more the returning to England part. I know that at the moment you need a test(even if vaccinated) 2 days before returning but I think they are changing it as of October. Whereabouts in Greece? It about time you travelled around Southern Europe have you bumped into @Fusion yet?
  10. What's happening now as of October? Do you not have to take a test before you go and when you come back anymore? It's all confusing to me . But if you don't have to fuck around having so many tests with the new regulations, then I'm going to go to South Spain on the 18th October as I have a week off work. @Stan @nudge where you at currently?
  11. My mate, Mambwe Chilufya, plays for Kendal Town now at left back and scored against Morecambe the other week(who are now in League 1), fair play to him. He's 27 but always played for your local pub like teams so he's done quite well to make the step up to non league and then score on his debut(albeit being a friendly) against a football league side.
  12. The biggest issue now is renewing Pedri and Fati as both contracts run out next year and keeping those 2 is even more important than keeping Messi was, considering his age. These 2 are players who need to be built around for the future, along with the beast Araújo, Dest, de Jong and hopefully Eric Garcia and Emerson. There are also talented players in the youth who have played in pre season but not proven themselves in competitive games yet. Balde, Nico, Gavi, or of course recent signing, Yusuf Demir. I actually think Barcelona will surprise people in the very near future, barring the financial situation is resolved and the club don't fold of course. It's certainly worrying.
  13. Very promising signs last night in the Gamper trophy Vs Juventus, albeit it only being a friendly cup. Depay scored another and assisted one. He also put on a show at times with the flicks and tricks. It looks like @El Profesor could be right about him being a very good signing. He's a different player to the one at Man United. Araújo had Cristiano in his back pocket. The team dominated possession and must have had 70% of it, this without Pedri and de Jong. Fati is close to coming back as well. Alot of young talent for the future. It'll take a few years of development and rebuilding(and financial issues to solve) but this team will be back. Yusuf assisted Depay's goal and again impressed. Who needs Messi? @nudge
  14. Yeah, the 2nd season has recently come out. The episodes aren't the longest either so you'll soon get through them.
  15. Have you seen Sky Rojo, by the makers of this? @Stan
  16. I haven't seen that series but she has seen it as she recommended me to watch it ages ago. She is from Cali though so she has told me more about the Orejuela brothers, who were the bosses of the Cali Cartel. I've read a few books about them and they are actually the ones who first opened the cocaine route to Europe, including Liverpool, where they had direct links to Scouse gangsters. They also opened a huge chain or pharmacies in Cali, which are still around to this day. For all the bad deeds that the Cartels carry out, they also help the local people who need it. In Medellín there are people who worship Escobar, as he really helped out alot of poor communities, while the government don't. I was infact smoking weed and chatting to a group of Mexicans from Sinaloa in a cannabis social club in Barcelona back in March last year and interestingly enough they spoke very highly of El Chapo and the Sinaloa Cartel. They have built schools and alsorts. Speaking of El Chapo, the series about him on Netflix is probably my favourite series in Spanish. Fantastic series, I might watch it again soon. Yeah the hippos have really become a problem. Making them infertile wouldn't be an easy task I wouldn't say and the problem with hippos is that barely, if any, animal is a match for them, so they can cause alot of destruction.
  17. My Colombian mate said she hates the whole Pablo Escobar hype in general and that she hates how most foreigners associate her country with drugs, cartels and prostitution. It can actually be a very taboo subject to be honest and drugs are nowhere near as popular among Colombians as they are in the USA and here in Europe, where it's very common for people to take drugs. But she also said that the "real" series about Pablo Escobar for Colombians is El patrón del mar. The lead actor in Narcos doesn't have a very natural sounding accent. In the book I read about the Medellin cartel, the fella who wrote the book was part of that Cartel and even he says in the book that El Patrón del mar is "closer to the truth" while Narcos is "aload of nonsense with Pablo speaking in a Portuguese accent". I personally like both but do prefer the grittiness of el patrón del mar, with it being from Colombia itself. By the way, Sky Rojo is a brilliant series. I binged the whole of season 2 at the weekend.
  18. Collado has gone out on loan, which means Yusuf will likely be part of the 1st team next season. Koeman seems to love him and he's impressed in pre season.
  19. He's another young player with alot of potential and talent in the squad(which he is showing in pre season), as you have already said about him from his time at Rapid Viena, before making the move to Camp Nou. He's only 18 but Pedri and Fati(before injury) were both first team regulars last season at the same age, so now is a better time than ever for younger players to get chances.
  20. Nice goal and also pass by de Jong. @It's Coming Home!
  21. Sky rojo is decent. Atleast the first series was, the 2nd came out on Netflix yesterday so I haven't seen it yet. I haven't seen ¿Quién mató a sara? either but it's saved in my favourites with a bunch of other series for the future. El Chapo, Apache and el patrón del mar are some of my favourites.
  22. 110 MCs this time. Even Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, Kool G Rap, KRS-One, Treach, etc are on this one. Inspectah Deck, Red Man, Reakwon, Cassidy, AZ, Black Thought, Crooked I, Papoose, Rivers, Tradegy Khadafi...even Roy Jones and Shaq @Machado, @JoshBRFC
  23. @Devil-Dick Willie in 50 years when he finds some pils that he lost 40 years previously:-

It back fired on me the other day. I pulled a sicky at work on Tues(there was nothing wrong with me, I just couldn't be arsed) and they wouldn't let me back until I did a covid test . So I ended up losing 3 days instead of 1.
