I don't really judge feet that much though I suppose if a girl had really ugly feet it'd be a pretty mega turn off.

Can't tell whether all the stick aimed at Pickford is serious or not. He's clearly a very good goalkeeper but still learning his trade, he's only 23 or so. Alisson made a huge fuck up last weekend, his second of the season, Leno has made several fuck ups and hasn't even played the full season so far, Lloris constantly makes howlers, none of those get the attention Pickford does whenever he has a poor game or makes a mistake. That's the poisoned chalice of being "England's number one", unless everything you do is world class you get absolutely slated. Even genuine world class players like Rooney, Ferdinand, Scholes, Gerrard, Kane have never been held to the same standards as Seaman, Robinson, Hart, Pickford over the years. It's one of those truly baffling things. Defensively we started poorly, sorted it out when Keane and Zouma got a run together. Then Mina had to come in when Zouma was unavailable against Chelsea, and while all three of them then played well for a few games regardless of who played, keeping a clean sheet at Stamford Bridge and all but shutting out Liverpool at Anfield, it disrupted the momentum of an established partnership and the chopping and changing has caught up with us. Coleman is also declining by the week and Gueye has been injured in the last two games against City and Spurs leaving us with no defensive cover in midfield and no balance as a result. The defensive side is a concern, and there are underlying issues but there are also specific circumstances making it look worse than it is. At the end of the day, nobody can expect any manager to turn an Allardyce side into Barcelona in the space of four months. For example, Klopp took two and a half years to sort out Liverpool's defensive issues.
-
I'm actually surprised Silva is as close to that. Allardyce is the expert at getting exactly 80% out of his players at a given moment in time and not an ounce more. He wouldn't have taken the club anywhere but going back 12 months there aren't many other managers I'd have backed to get more points out of that squad than Allardyce ultimately did in the second half of last season. Hopefully Silva's reign proves to be one to be judged after 180 games, not 18.

32000 season ticket holders, 10000 on the waiting list, say you sell 3000 away tickets, an extra 2000 executive seats which is conservative compared to Goodison, that's already 47000... I don't have the numbers specifically but smarter Toffees than me have crunched the numbers and were expecting 55k as an absolute minimum.
-
McCarthy can be good but I'd rather see minutes go to Davies or even Baningime if they're there to be had. 52,000 is disappointing on the stadium. Real lack of ambition. Could sell that out already.

@nudge I had a couple of sessions on C2C, I'm afraid I just don't have the time to sink as much time into it as I need to to make satisfactory and engaging progress. I do appreciate the depth of the mod and may well come back to it during my two week Christmas break.

Fergie himself had a fair share of the responsibility leaving United in the mess as well. Splashing out on van Persie to make sure he got his one last title and not addressing the countless 30+ year old players that needed replacing fairly imminently for the clubs long term benefit.
-
Pogba is absolutely shite. Might be technically talented but discipline and consistency are parts of footballing ability as well and he's sorely lacking in both of these departments.
-
Definitely an absolute cunt who has been left behind by modern coaches but still one of the best managers of all time no matter how you want to spin it. Best thing for him would be to move to international football (though I dont think he's suited to that either) or just retire. He might just stay at United though and carry on profiting from the fact that the United fans are too stubborn to turn on him en masse.

I didn't realise I sent that tweet? To be honest it's a bit sad that @LFCMike is spending his Saturday nights looking up what Everton fans are posting on Twitter, and a bit weird that if he had something to say in response he didn't reply to the guy on Twitter rather than come on here in a bad attempt to wind up me and @Cannabis who are now the ones at some sort of fault because we said something back? Get a grip lads honestly, thought much higher of you three than this.

Called a joke mate. Just funny how many people on here (Not just Liverpool fans) can recognise one when they write one about another team then get all defensive if anyone else writes one about them.
-
You think that's a massive flap? Must not have seen the Champions League final this year then.
-
Go find yourselves a Norwegian translator and the joke will make more sense to you. Everton fans have mostly given up caring about Liverpool winning the league, I've grown up watching Liverpool win the league every pre-season so I'm pretty numb to it now. I'm more worried about the football fans across the world who can't sleep at night because all they can think about is how much they wish it was their team who'd won an entire League Cup in the last 12 years. I've heard Liverpool-related jealousy has become one of the top three causes of male suicides in the UK this past year. Scary stuff.

Didn't see all of this coming. Well I did, along with 48% of the country but .

I assume you meant to tag @SirBalon in this?
-
I'd love to support a team like Sauber, probably more likely to go for Williams or McLaren but I get my fill of celebrating 7th place because it's the best thing that'll ever happen to you by supporting Everton so I'll stick to being a neutral observer.

Walkers evolving this far into the apocalypse would come across as too convenient a plot device for me, too contrived and it wasn't foreshadowed at all so I'd call it bad story telling. Goes against too much of the "laws" of the disease. Really enjoyed the first half of this season. Looks like the show will hold up well The spoilers about the new storyline from comic book readers are annoying, but it has at least inspired me to try and read through the comics. They're pretty quick to get through it turns out!

Cracking news, perfect reason to be determined to watch F2 again next season, end up forgetting to set my alarm for the first race and not bother for the rest of the year . There's always 2020.
-
Bored of Ferrari being shit. Hope they win the championship next year.
-
I heard today that the 2018 F1 championship, which concluded on Sunday, hadn't even got underway the last time Lukaku scored at Old Trafford, and that approximately 92 million babies have been born in this time, far exceeding the 75m fee that United paid Everton for his services.

I don't think a second referendum is the answer but it's not as outrageous as some people have made out (Not necessarily here). It doesn't subvert democracy to allow people to have their say on something a second time having been presented with new information. People can change their mind, it's not that different than the fact we have another general election every 3 to 4 years to see whether the public has changed its mind about who should run the country. Speaking of which, the politicians already abdicated responsibility by putting it to a public vote the first time. The government never holds a referendum to decide whether income tax should be restructured or whether they should make more cuts to police funding, or other things where the public actually has an idea what they're voting for or against, so I still don't see why the biggest economic decision in my lifetime was put to a public vote where the electorate weren't remotely educated about the process that would take place or the benefits and costs of what they were voting for.

Used to like Will Smith but this bad publicity grab linked to Lewis Hamilton in recent weeks shows that he's just another bad nobhead like 90% of the rest of Hollywood. Absolute thunder cunt behaviour from him recently.

Didn't see the semi final but Zverev was superb against Djokovic on Sunday. Hope Murray comes back on form from January onwards. His brief appearances in the Autumn don't fill me with great hope though.
