  1. Bayern make the news, for non-sporting reasons this time. Munich main customs office claim some of their employees had to work more hours than they were contractual obliged too regularly and were paid less than the minimum wage, therefore, in the years 2016 to 2021. In 2018 Hoeneß and Rummenigge hosted that infamous pc, where they claimed critizising their players would violate said players human dignity. The rights of their worse-paid employees seem to have been much less of a concern, though.
  2. Congrats to our deserved winner @nudge! Thanks for running this @RandoEFC
  3. So, you're doubting white, or any ethnic, segregation is racism? Apparently we have a member with questionable convictions. Also your definition of sexism is, how to put it?, interesting since white men is a term often used for white humans of any gender. On a side note: Once you claimed you were centrist. Am too lazy to look it up to quote it, but you did, just for the record: You ain't - you're a fucking reactionary.
  4. The 1st round matches will be played from 11th -14 th of August. Bayern + Austrian piss will play their matches on September the 26th and 27th respectively, since they have to contest that unnecessary Super-Cup final on the 1st round weekend.
  5. Have a look at the 6th page of this thread http:// talkfootball365.com/topic/16604-dfb-pokal-2223/page/6/ The only ones not mentioned there are Unterhaching as winners of RL Bayern and Preußen Münster as best Westfalian team in RL West.
  6. Surprised Hoeneß didn't mention Dreesen's human dignity and German constitution in this context.
  7. The introduction of a DFL investor is off the table. During today's 36 DFL club's extraordinary meeting that proposal didn't get the the required 2/3 majority of the club's votes.
  8. Thought this survey of money clubs receive for their European performances next year/ received this year for them is interesting. http://www.kicker.de/uefa-zahlungen-bayern-bleibt-kroesus-vier-bundesligisten-vor-dortmund-950600/artikel While it's kind of understandable Frankfurt will receive more money from this pot next year than Dortmund, since the former won the Europa League last season, Leipzig and doing Leverkusen so as well comes as a surprise for me. On a side note second tier clubs being excluded from receiving that money is a scandal to put it mildly. This would mean theoretically a second tier club could become cup winners of their respective association and win the Europa the next season thus meaning qualifying for the CL without getting a single buck for it since 2.tier clubs are excluded from UEFA payments, which is more than unfair.
  9. Well the street had a name that was deemed inappropriate in today's world and since three big meat factories are situated in it it was renamed Lyonnerring like the sausage. No joke.
  10. Shows you know nothing about Saarland. Lyonerring (that's what the sausage is called) is an essential part of Saarish culture. So much indeed that a street in Saarbrücken is named after it.
  11. An extraordinary schedule change happened: The Leverkusen - Köln match has been moved from Sunday the 7th of May to Friday, May the 5th, to give Leverkusen two more days to prepare for their Europa League match at Rome. Since the match originally scheduled on Friday between Mainz and Schalke can't be moved to Sunday for the reason of a big event happening at Mainz on that date (Gutenberg- Marathon), we'll have the unique case of two Friday and only 1 Sunday match on 31th matchday. Not amused they even considered moving the Mainz - Schalke match to Sunday, since Mainz and Gelsenkirchen are far away enough from each other to cause Schalke fans to take at least half a day off to make it possible to watch this match at the stadium. It would have been an insolence to move it to Sunday, with such short notice, for that reason.
  12. Bayern have obviously problems. Whether a revival of the dinosaurs is the solution to these issues is debatable, though. Would be entertaining to hear Hoeneß rambling about human rights because some journalists dared to critizise Bayern's team again, I admit.
  13. Mane suspended from Bayern training after he slapped Leroy Sane in the aftermath of the CL loss. This and Mane's season in mind, he's on the verge of becoming an expensive Bayern flop.
  14. @Tommy Something that's almost certainly never going to happen in football occured in another sport: FCS won the Table Tennis CL in a final versus Düsseldorf.
  15. Bayern have now 300k members and are the sports club with the most members world wide. On a sidenote second biggest are Benfica with 244k at the begin of this year.

Happy birthday! Have a few drinks.
  17. Spoilt brat! Not every city and town got their stadium renovated , or like Düsseldorf even entirely new built for the 2006 WC, fuck's sake.

Just like me. Great minds, and so on.
  20. Christian Streich has managed Freiburg 340 Buli matches now, that means he's their shared record 1.tier manager together with Volker Finke. Managing this club since the 2nd of January 2012 now, that's an eternity in modern football.
  21. Depending on your type of your membership between 70 and [fanfare] 1000 Euros. No idea how many kinds of membership they have.
  22. http://transfermarkt.de/1-bundesliga/daten/wettbewerb/L1/sort/mitglieder.desc That's a full survey.
  23. http://de.statista.com/statistik/daten/studie/29723/umfrage/anzahl-der-mitglieder-ausgewaehlter-vereine-der-bundesliga/ Data fom 31st of January: Freiburg now have about 46k members, more than Werder or Union! On a side note: Hoffenheim are on 17th spot with 11k members, while Leipzig have 750.
  24. We'll see, too early to tell. On a side note, wouldn't rule out the possibility that it's Frankfurt, who take the title race to the final day, neither.
