  1. Extremely unfortunate choice of words in this tweet, since 41% of those with ethnic background is non-sense. Everyone has an ethnic background, only difference is that those, who form tthe ethnic majority have the ethni background of the ethnic majority in their respective country.
  2. Is your daughter establishing her own zoo?
  3. Here it's -8, and I#m still sleeping naked with my window wide open.
  4. Only 99 Dollars. Fuck me, why don't I 've got people paying me that money for such shit?
  5. Was reminded today, how priviliged footballers really are. Many papers were stating surprised Labaddia has his team working from sunrise to sundown. Knowing the former was at 8:30 and the later will be at 16:07, I'm wondering, why they think that would be worth mentioning. These working hours aren't exactly exceptional in Germany. If anything they're short for such well paid professionals.
  6. That's absolutely correct! Was exaggereting with regards to München, still would say paying visits to Bayreuth, Bamberg; Regensburg, Augsburg, the Alps and/or Würzburg are preferable compared to a longer stay in München, when you're going to Bavaria. München has a better reputation than it deserves, especially outside German speaking countries, in my honest opinion
  7. Wouldn't recommand, the best thing about München are the platforms where the trains to other cities depart.
  8. To be fair, saying players were coming from countries where skiing isn't really prevalent for climatical reasons isn't racist in my opinion.
  9. Yes, Margarethe Steiff's stuffed animals are rare nowadays and valuable.
  10. It's quite popular in Germany, think I read another TV station will make a similar format to compete with "Bares für RAres". Watching others selling things is nothing that attract me to watch TV, though.
  11. No idea, whether there's a reason. If so, I'd say it's a relict from the monochrome TV times, to make it easier for the spectators to make out which teams got a card, when eg a team in red kits played a team in green kits, I'd guess.
  12. That's no answer to my question. Where in the US you're from or which oo are you an outsider like me?
  13. Ironically they moan about living in an imagined dictatorship, whilst simultanously idealizing times of real dictatorship, in their case the Kaiserreich. AS for the part fuelled by AFD, although I agree in generally with this statement, I impugn it in this special case, since so many BW soldiers are involved. Did my obligatory military service 91-92 and can tell even then, long before AFD was even founded, I became a friend of conscription because of seeing and hearing the opinions of career soldiers and comparing them to those of my comrades. Honestly conscription is, in my opinion, the best way to prevent Bundeswehr from becoming a bunch of reactionaries that are dangerous because armed.
  14. Do you live in the US? Asking, because I seem to remember you wouldn't and if that's the case it's a bit precipitate to declare, whether Republicans and Democrats may or may not agree on the urgency of an issue, in my opinion. Even, if you do, you can only speak for the small part of that massive country, you live in and that part of published opinion you consumed. Edit: on a side note although you didn't mention it, personally I'd say a party having supported a former president, who's now demanding to be reinstalled against ther constitution having the majority in the HOR is a much bigger threat to undermine the constituional democracy, in my opinion., although I'm talking from outside the US.
  15. CSU politician Ulrike Scharf wants to allow daily working times of 12 hours, and to reduce the statuory rest periods between working days. Now comes the fun part: she justifies that with a better compatibility of family and career. You couldn't make that shit up. Reading that I'm grateful this party isn't in power anymore.
  16. You're not going to accuse that poor boy of his lack of good taste, I hope.
  17. Thought Indonesia were one of the more open minded societies in that area. Guess I was wrong, either that or I 'll have to take a new look on the comparative values in this part of the world. Even the the existence of blasphemy laws seems to me like a reason to avoid a state. More lenience towards corruption is the icing on the cake, though.
  18. Lena Oberdorf donated her 5000 Euro prize, she won for her:" Women's football, men's football, it's just football" statement, that was elected this years football quote of the year, to "Scoring Girls" a football project helping girls in Iraq-
  19. Kicker, who're usually quite cautious with speculations, reckon Flick's position as the team's manager were under threat and name Tuchel as a possible successor.
  20. Now you're even attracted to paws? Should I inform the animal protection association?
  21. Not fair, considering Windhorst's shares were sold before Bernstein was elected for club president.
  22. Heaven, I was in my early teens, then.
