  1. I fully agree on this implementation being ridiculous and of course you should think the government would have had enough time to define the term essential to inform the stores, what's included longer than in literally the last possible moment. And obviously common sense dictates that this definition has to be evaluated and adjusted if necessary. Just wanted to point out that alcohol being essential can't be that easily denied as you did. ( That part of cold detoxification being potentially lethal for alcoholics wasn't made up.)
  2. Disagree. People in Wales are supposed to have enough clothes not to freeze to death, while cold turkey might be lethal for alcoholics.
  3. Just learned Schalke have the worst goal difference after 5 matches of any club ever in the Buli. For a team, who are as defensive-minded as them that's an appalling statistic.
  4. Another Yank with many soft spots for different German clubs, I see. Welcome aboard and am looking forward to your contribution.
  5. Jonas Hector retired from the national team a few weeks ago. It's refreshing someone is capable of retiring from it without feeling the need to cry in every erected mic like Wagner did.

We'll do as soon as Pakistan become part of India and forbid Muslim activities.

    Cooking

Can I have some? That's looking delicious.
  8. Yep, Kabak already apologized saying it wasn't intentional, which is hardly believable. Hope he gets a lengthy ban.
  9. Fiete Arp will be playing for the second team permanently. Could well be be that his move to Bayern was detrimental for his career, although it would be a shame if he turned out to be a second Michael Sternkopf.
  10. Interesting that these excuses didn't apply for Tedesco and his predecessors.
  11. Honestly, sacking the manager after, checks notes, 2 matches in the season would be a bit panicked, wouldn't it?
  12. There are enough clubs that do without investors, though.
  13. That's not surprising, most German clubs are really good in their behavior towards their fans and members including potential ones. To give you an idea what I'm talking about I ordered a few years ago a SV Elversberg lighter as an gift for a mate, who is a fan of theirs. Since then I receive a card from them every eastern, christmas and birthday, the last fact is especially perplexing as I didn't mention that date in said order.
  14. Wrath, anger, hate, fury we Germans got a whole bunch of flowers of emotions.
  15. That's a half-hearted attempt, if you employ people to denounce their fellows do full the step and call them "Blockwart".
  16. @SchalkeUK Reports in Germany suggest Schalke were after Ibisevic. On one hand Ibisevic is an experienced and proven striker, on the other he's 36 years old now, so definitely no long-term solution of your attacking issues. Would like to hear your take on it. Forgot to mention Ibisevic is available for free.
  17. Genuine question; do you know whether this applies to the territories as well? Asking because it says England in that tweet.
  18. Haven't watched this match since I saw the line-ups a question arose. Is it me or did brothers Eggestein stagnate or even regress last season?
  19. Anything under 55°C is fine with me, love me a warm summer.
  20. In the end they missed out,.After negotiating with Freiburg and the keeper for weeks, and all that talk how this deal would be done and dusted in short time, Schalke didn't manage to agree terms with them, and Schwolow joins Hertha BSC instead. Will be interesting to learn whom Schalke sign as their new first choice keeper now, if they sign anybody for this role at all.
