Glad you like it... Keep on watching, it gets more interesting, especially with the reveal how the tragedy really should have been avoided.

There's an interesting documentary mini-series (4 episodes) called "Challenger: The Final Flight" on Netflix. It's an in depth look into the tragic incident of 1986, including the events leading to it, the people involved, as well as the general overview of the Space Shuttle program. Highly recommended.

That logo is badass! Would definitely choose that over a massive club that wins every time. That's boring af!

They are currently in the fourth research phase, evaluating how much money can be earned from TV rights and, more importantly, how the spots in European competitions would be distributed. I believe now both Dutch and Belgian leagues have 5 spots each, and are unwilling to have only 5 spots available after a merger. UEFA, on the other hand, is unwilling to give the new league more than that, so it's complicated.

I mean, Jahanbakhsh and Mahdavikia didn't play for Bandar e-Anzali, did they???

Theoreticaly, you can. But most naturally ocurring whirlpools in the rivers are way too small and have way too little power to be a viable large-scale solution, nevermind other potential issues such as freezing water in winter, debris, trash, etc. The big powerful ones in the oceans have the same issues as other existing marine technology, namely expensive and difficult installation, high maintenance and repair costs, challenges related to the bottom surface, gravel, sand, salt, corrosion, debris etc. Whirlpools in oceans are also highly dependent on the tides, so it's not a very stable source either.

@Mel81x thought you might enjoy this: https://towardsdatascience.com/how-to-create-an-agent-based-simulation-model-37bd7b4b0da7 This probably isn't the right thread, wasn't sure where else to post it though; basically one fella created a computer model to simulate passenger happiness based on the conditions on the Snowpiercer. Nothing groundbreaking, but an interesting idea and experiment

An interesting coincidence: Today, NASA announced that they found water in Clavius Crater, making it a great place for a potential future moonbase. In 2001: A Space Odyssey, Clavius crater is also the place where the moonbase was built, and then they discovered the Monolith in the nearby Tycho crater

Füllkrug has a calf muscle injury, will be out for a while, potentially back after the next international break or in the end of November. No serious injury to Osako.

Tried to capture Jupiter tonight. It's been cloudy in the last few nights so there have been few observation opportunities, had only less than an hour window tonight before the Jupiter set... Think it turned out quite well... Managed to get Jupiter and three of its Galilean moons - Ganymede, Io, and Europa (from left to right). Sadly couldn't see Callisto, must have been behind Jupiter already. Have to click on the image to see it properly, as those moons are tiny...

What they are doing in Wales is a complete madness and frankly, barely has anything to do with virus management anymore. Tape off "non-essential" aisles in supermarkets? Fucking hell.

Just watched it myself... Think Season 2 has been great so far, even better than Season 1. In fact, I think it's the best thing currently on TV.
