I used to love pasta, but don't tolerate it well anymore, either When I eat it, then usually alla puttanesca. Love that... Never made my own pasta either, unless Spätzle counts

Love shakshuka, but sadly I don't tolerate eggs anymore The Bolognese sounds nice, looking forward to the pics! I never buy the canned stuff, it just doesn't taste good... It's pretty easy to make a decent meat sauce at home, even without doing it the proper long way. I just sautee some onion, carrot and celery, add ground beef, seasoning, passata, tomato pulp, and let it all simmer... Add a glass of wine if I happen to have any, which is not usually the case. Obviously not authentic, but pretty damn good and simple!
  3. Disagree, don't see them involved in a relegation fight. I think their squad is good enough for anything from mid-table to European spots.
  4. I'd say an European spot would generally be seen as an overachievement for Freiburg, although at the same time nobody would be surprised if they do either. That probably didn't make any sense
  5. Yeah, I started reading it just a few days ago, some nice selection of stories in each issue and I like that they print contemporary science fiction from authors of various nationalities, especially East Asian writers, as there's a huge new wave of scifi currently in China, Korea and the likes...
  6. Subscribed to a few sci-fi magazines recently... Like Clarkesworld best, so far. Some amazing cover art too.
  7. Well, how's that for a dejavu - Toprak has picked up an injury again and is out Meanwhile, Veljkovic is not yet 100% fit.
  8. https://www.pittwire.pitt.edu/news/pitt-scientists-discover-tiny-antibody-component-highly-effective-preventing-and-treating-sars Probably the most promising news in quite a while. Easy/low cost to produce, simplified administration, works faster and is highly effective (not tested in humans yet), and probably the most important part - it doesn't bind to human cells, so negative side effects are unlikely.
  9. haha, apparently Schalke now want to loan out Kutucu within Bundesliga, with Hoffenheim and Bielefeld being the most likely destinations. Burgstaller ftw!
  10. Cheers, I'll have to check it out... I LOVED the originals, the soundtrack alone was phenomenal. Simpler times, as you said...
  11. I didn't even know there was a remake/remaster
  12. Based on our current knowledge, it would be either life, or some wonky, exotic, and completely unknown chemistry happening in the clouds of Venus. Very exciting, but there's alot of caution and skepticism about it. John Carpenter, an ALMA observatory scientist, said they are unsure if the phosphine observations themselves are real as the signal is faint, and the team needed to perform an extensive amount of processing to pull it from the data returned by the telescopes. Therefore, that processing may have returned an artificial signal at the same frequency as phosphine, so a follow up is needed.
  13. Mulan (2020) Loved it, visually beautiful, engaging story and great entertainment. 8/10
  14. He really looks like a Sith lord in that pic
  15. We'll both are shareholders at Aston Martin, so there's definitely mutual interest.
  16. On Austrian TV before the race yesterday, they talked to Toto Wolff about this. He straight out denied that Ineos are buying the majority of the shares and said that Mercedes is definitely staying in F1 as Mercedes. However, what I found curious was his unwillingness to confirm that he'll remain at Mercedes as the team principal. I still think he will move to Aston Martin at some point.

Might be the start of a great career of a professional tomb raider there...
  18. Good to see and hear fans in the stadium again! (even if only 10000)
  19. There was significant fan reaction and "hate" when Götze left for Bayern, and they definitely held a grudge. He was called Judas, they had posters dissing him, shouted insults at him, etc.
