  1. Been living in Cambodia for the last 6 years, currently stuck in Lithuania as I returned here for a few months shortly before this whole shite started and still can't leave to go back haha.
  2. I think that hygiene issues and preventing the spread in the changing rooms and the general area around the pool could be a bit of a concern, too. But yeah, I agree that economical reasons are the main drive behind reopening certain venues while some others remain shut.
  3. Just noticed that Yellowstone Season 3 has started... Which reminds me that I still need to watch Season 2, haha.
  4. I must say Melanie is my favourite character in all this.
  5. Yeah, absolutely sick. But not really surprising, is it? I mean it's NASCAR, and it's Alabama. They still fly confederate flags during the races... Wendell Scott, the first black driver in NASCAR was at first refused the right to compete, was subject to racial abuse, then once he finally got into the top tier he won the race in 1963 by finishing two laps in front of the field, and they still awarded the win to the driver who finished second due to the racist culture. He (well rather his family) was finally given that trophy posthumously, almost 50 (!) years after the event. Nothing much has changed in almost six decades, it seems.
  6. Yes, my mistake! 3rd means going into EL 3rd qualifying round. As you said, there's still a chance for the 2nd spot, and the Rapid v LASK match on the penultimate matchday could be very interesting. Also worth mentioning that LASK still consider bringing the case to a "neutral court", meaning this saga could last long after the league finishes...
  7. So LASK have appealed their 6 point penalty, and today the decision was made - the penalty was reduced to 4 points, meaning that they are in the CL qualification spot, 5 points ahead of WAC in 4th, and only 2 points behind Rapid in 2nd.
  8. Mamiya Leaf Credo 40. (I know you were just taking the piss, but I actually have the answer to that )
  9. Just learned that my Dad got me an early birthday present and it'll be arriving to me soon... Not an actual picture, as I haven't received it yet, obviously. Mine apparently comes with an additional 35-70mm lens, ME II winder and a right angled viewfinder. Soooo excited!
  10. Membership renewed... Just upgraded to full membership too
  11. I posted this in the Niki Lauda thread when he passed away, so it's just a copy paste. He just had massive balls of steel in general and his perseverance and "never give up" mentality is what made him a legend. He cut ties to his wealthy family after his grandfather interfered and blocked him from getting sponsored by the Austrian bank as he wanted to stop him from racing when he was just starting out; Niki went on and took out numerous loans to finance his racing career. He told Enzo Ferrari that the car he was supposed to drive was shite. He told the priest who was giving him his last rites after the crash in the hospital to fuck off because he wasn't dead and that made him so angry that it inspired him to fight harder to stay alive. He underwent extremely painful lung-cleaning procedures (among other severe injuries) and returned to racing just 42 days after the crash with unhealed burn wounds and still managed to qualify 5th and finish 4th in the race. He boycotted the last race in Fuji in the 76 season due to safety concerns; drove only one lap and left the circuit, willingly giving up his championship hopes to protest risking drivers' lives over TV contract. He stood up against Boeing and made them acknowledge their technical fault after a plane belonging to his airline had a fatal crash in Thailand. To do that, he ran numerous flight simulations and offered to fly on a 767 with two pilots and repeat the scenario to see if the accident could have been prevented by the pilots. He came out of retirement and won his 3rd title. He survived two kidney transplants. Death only managed to take him while he was asleep. Legend.
  12. Yes! The main events in the movie are all true...
  13. This article goes into some detail regarding handling and systems management, thought it's a decent read: https://www.polygon.com/interviews/2020/6/18/21295900/star-wars-squadrons-everything-you-need-to-know On a side note, I think it would be fantastic to play it in VR...
  14. The gameplay trailer for Star Wars: Squadrons is out now! And I think it looks fantastic! That cockpit view...The controls and management look great, and I love how you get to control a pilot for both sides.
  15. That's too small to get onto the calendar, we're only doing cataclysms of global magnitude this year
