  1. Oh, coming out of retirement again, I see I tried but I just can't get into Formula E, the vacuum cleaner sound is just too annoying... I will watch it next year for Porsche alone though.
  2. Dorsch is leaving, it's official already... Friedl should get enough playing time at Bremen next season; he was decent for us so far, and he'll probably become an established Bundesliga player in the future, but I don't think he'll ever really be Bayern-caliber.
  3. A brilliant 24h race at Nürburgring as usual, and an amazing win in treacherous conditions for Manthey Racing Porsche #912 driven by Lietz, Pilet, Makowiecki and Tandy! It was a hard fight with the Black Falcon Mercedes AMG for the last hour and a half once the race was resumed, but Fred Mako pulled off a great overtake and managed to keep the lead until the end. What a race, well worth staying awake for the most of the 24 hours
  4. What a borefest... Happy for Leclerc, he's putting some good performances after getting used to the F1 car. It's also great to see Sauber not being the worst car on the grid. Talking about worst cars, I wouldn't be surprised if Williams left F1 after this season...

About 1.50m height with a wingspan up to 2.60m Just look at that monster. And that sound it makes... Amazing.
  6. well considering his comments about Williams car after free training, it looks like he would actually rather drive a tractor.
  7. Congrats to the Pirelli team for getting the front row
  8. Just a fuel intake issue, apparently.
  9. I think your last race predictions are automatically taken if you fail to make new ones in time, so there's still hope
  10. Read my previous post, I almost forgot it too as I was in the pub
  11. I put my predictions in when I was in a pub right before I went back home for the quali, haha... Almost forgot it
  12. It clashes with footy and with 24h Nürburgring... I'm setting up all streams on two laptops and a TV already, haha.
  13. FIA Formula 3 European Championship starts in about twenty minutes... First race weekend in Pau. Come on Mick! Best times in free practice, but unlucky to crash in the quali Hope for a good race for him though anyway. @Tommy where is Sophia Floersch? Thought she's going to drive there too?

    Well, they're French after all...
  15. Yes, and not only that - he actually wrote it together with Rafael Honigstein, hehe... It went on sale yesterday: https://www.amazon.de/Weltmeister-ohne-Talent-Leben-Karriere/dp/386493057X I'm definitely getting it too
  16. None. I used to watch a lot of movies in the past, but now I prefer TV shows as the episodes are shorter and thus I can watch quite a few without sacrificing much time. Movies somehow require more focus, so I can't be bothered anymore usually.
  17. Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did, it's sad that it hasn't gotten more attention as it really is brilliant... Couldn't possibly add anything to your great Sir-Balonesque review, hehe... :D I really liked the Inuit angle of the story, it kind of gives a different view of the events and the monster; just like they said in that article, it surely was the scary antagonist for the British sailors stranded in the Arctic, but for the Inuits, it was a part of their mythology (based on their god of death?), sort of protecting them from the invading interlopers... Also, I was extremely fascinated by the historical accuracy of the show, from the actual names of the crew members to the technical details of the expedition, the show's gritty realism is amazing. As for potential season two, it seems like they are interested in running the series as an anthology, but they'd be covering a completely new story (also based on historical events) in a similar manner, but it surely will not be a continuation of this one! So each season = a standalone story. That could definitely work, and I think there are so many stories to tell...
  18. To be honest, I didn't even know YouTube Red existed until I found Cobra Kai... As for Miguel, I'd be disappointed if they made him a villain...I think his transformation towards the end of the season made sense, partly because of Johnny's karate teaching methods, but also because of Miguel's own daddy issues; he doesn't strike me as a douchebag so it would be quite a bit out of character, I think. I also hope that Cobra Kai crew will still be the main protagonists, and that the writers will not try to push the Larusso/Robby narrative as the new Mr. Miyagi/Daniel story instead. Kind of have a feeling that Larusso and Johnny might have to team up against the you-know-who (don't want to spoil it for someone else, hehe). The best overall transformation must be Hawk, hands down
  19. Oh sure, watched it as a kid growing up in the late 80s hehe. Also absolutely agree, the story and character development is brilliant, I personally found myself rooting for Johnny (quite a change from the original movie haha), but I love it how they chose to show all sides and angles of the story; that's probably the main reason why the show really works for me. Great news - I just read that the show is officially renewed for Season 2! Bad news - we'll have to wait until next year for it
  20. First car upgrades are coming out for Spanish GP. McLaren's new nose: Ferrari's new halo-mounted mirrors with winglets:
