  1. It's laughable, but serves as a good example to show the direction and the level of ambition (or lack of, rather) by the club. When your only serious options are apparently either a cheap internal solution with a U23 coach again (despite the fact that it backfired TWICE already) or Bruno Labbadia, you know that the sole interest of the board is to make money without any consideration for on-pitch success and to maintain the status quo, hence not allowing fresh wind from the outside and choosing to brew in their own juice instead. As long as this mentality remains, there will be no significant changes and no manager will be able to make any difference long-term. As for Kohfeldt in particular - I think the fact that he finally decided to make the last 2 substitutions on the 90th minute only and even defended this decision after the match says a lot about his ability to judge the situation and react to it, at least.
  2. But... I have Thomas' permission to stay at home and get drunk!
  3. But... but... Phnom Penh is extremely dangerous for my wallet And i hate crowds d
  4. Arguing with a woman is like reading a software license agreement...
  5. I actually took painting classes for a while as a kid...
  6. Dude, I'm not going to Phnom Penh for it Will check if there's any action in my village tomorrow though and take pics if there is
  7. WEC "Super Season" 2018/2019 is starting to look very exciting! Despite the initial fears about LMP1 class dying out after Porsche's exit, the grid for the next year is shaping up so nicely already with Toyota hinting at staying put, and with various customer teams officially confirming their participation recently. So far, we have Manor & TRS (1 car), Dragonspeed (1 car), SMP Racing (2 cars probably), ByKolles (1 car), unnamed customer team with Ginetta chassis (2 cars), and probably Toyota (2 cars). 9 cars in the top class already, and there's plenty of time still for new entries. V10 engines are coming back thanks to a change in fuel rules too, as well as more choice in engine power options in general, possibility to compete with a non-hybrid engine, among other new changes. ACO and FIA reacted well to the situation by introducing new regs and tweaking the schedule in order to cut costs and stimulate interest in the series; couldn't expect so much interest but it definitely looks great so far! GTE class looks just as exciting as usual with new cars entering the grid next season too; I'm particularly interested to see the new M8 GTE on track, it looks badass. Aaand we're going to have TWO editions of Le Mans 24 hours (2018 and 2019) counting towards the next championship due to it being a "transitional" season leading to the new race calendar culminating in Le Mans each year starting with 2020. Meanwhile, current season is close to an end with the penultimate race taking place in Shanghai this weekend.
  8. That will be hard to do, as the main part of celebration takes place in Phnom Penh and I try to avoid it during the festivities as it's packed then... They have like a few hundred long boats from villages all across the country racing with over a million spectators flocking to watch it on the banks of the river.
  9. This draft stuff clogs the activity feed completely, it's annoying af.

  10. We have Bon Om Toeuk, or Water Festival, this week from Thursday to Saturday.
  11. New engine 2021 regulations have been proposed today by FIA. Key features: 1.6 Litre, V6 Turbo Hybrid 3000rpm higher engine running speed range to improve the sound Prescriptive internal design parameters to restrict development costs and discourage extreme designs and running conditions Removal of the MGUH More powerful MGUK with focus on manual driver deployment in race together with option to save up energy over several laps to give a driver controlled tactical element to racing Single turbo with dimensional constraints and weight limits Standard energy store and control electronics High Level of external prescriptive design to give ‘Plug-And-Play’ engine/chassis/transmission swap capability Intention to investigate tighter fuel regulations and limits on number of fuels used
  12. Hello darkness my old friend... I have absolutely no hopes that it will get any better in a long-run, nevermind who takes or doesn't take over. It's the same story again and again and again until we finally get relegated and fall apart completely. Slow death of a club. I suggest dismantling the club and starting anew in the 3. Kreisklasse instead.
  13. Good to see the suspense holding until the final race, even if Marquez is still far ahead and will most likely get the title... Meanwhile, Jonas Folger is still out with a mysterious illness Franco Morbidelli sealed Moto2 title already as Luthi was ruled out of Sepang with an ankle fracture. A big win for him and for Rossi's riders academy!

My dad loved Colombia, San Andrés in particular. Granted, he was there in the 60s though haha.
  15. No, he was only 51 and there were no health concerns either, apparently A big loss to the German and Swiss motorsports community in particular as he was the key figure in developing talented youngsters in both countries.
  16. Belfodil? He's on loan haha. Was apparently once considered to be a big talent, didn't quite work out for him.
