Yeah, the acting from the cat was one of the best performances I've ever seen.
  2. Some of humanity's achievements are truly incredible.

    This is is incredible.
  4. Seats for the post-season Young Driver Test:
  5. Some countries are already paying "compensation" for the families of those who get vaccinated voluntarily and suffer serious side effects or die. Thailand, for example, has already paid out 621 million baht to 6,177 recipients, with over 1,500 cases still being investigated. I think most countries have similar schemes, it's just a question of how well it works and how willing are they to accept the claims of injury/deaths. Also, pharmaceutical companies should not be given full immunity from legal liability, imo.

Slow cook yoghurt? Looks like a fancy rice cooker
  7. Yeah, I honestly don't think he'll be an option for the first team any time soon. Maybe will train with them during the winter break, and maybe will be part of extended squad once or twice next year as a result, but I don't think he'll get anywhere near getting a proepr chance. So I wouldn't be surprised if he moved again in summer!
  8. Personally, haven't seen him play, but he's having an incredible season and there were calls from some local fans to give him a chance in our main squad. Our reserves usually play a diamond formation with him as one of the two strikers; he didn't perform very well and was usually being too egoistic at the start of the season, but seems to have improved, especially in terms of teamwork. Frankly, can't say much else...

It's just a cool-looking ribeye with a large bone. No difference in taste whatsoever.
  10. I wasn't debating you either, in fact, I didn't even give my opinion at all it was more of a general point how hard it is to form truly informed opinions when not all information is available at all times, especially when the topic at hand is considerably new and debatable even in the scientific community.
  11. Genuine question - how do you know who the leading experts are and what defines majority for you?
  12. Well, there's being introverted, and then there's being socially anxious... Removing human contact from daily situations is mad, and governments striving to do it are fucking psychotic.
  13. Well it's probably because that link is over a year old... As I said, my point was to show that there are different opinions on the matter. In the end, when you say you're listening to the experts, you're making a choice of which experts you listen to. It's always worth hearing the other side of the argument, regardless what the topic is.

I actually tasted a fried spider once. Very crispy.

When you said cat-flavoured, I just assumed it tastes like cat
  17. Wasn't the 500.000 deaths figure a forecast based on a modelling by Neil Ferguson's group? If yes, I believe he himself has admitted that his predictions were off. Anyway, my point was that there have always been differing opinions on this even among scientists and "experts"; I don't think there's a strong consensus.
  18. Regarding experts: you might be interested in reading The Great Barrington Declaration. Regardless if one agrees with them and their suggestions or not, it's still a considerably large group of experts who have been opposing strict lockdown measures since 2020. Created by three epidemiology professors at Oxford, Harvard and Stanford, and signed by 15,091 medical & public health scientists and 44,541 medical practitioners around the world.

    Cooking

Taste-wise, I don't feel much difference. In general, I prefer shrimp for most dishes, and tiger prawns for BBQ due to their size.
  20. From what I read, many of them were kids, too. Apparently 7 were from the same family. It's just pure evil, and I will never understand how anyone could be capable of something like that. Absolute scum.
  21. I saw the description but didn't watch the video. Can't even fathom such indescribable acts of cruelty. It's absolutely heart-breaking and infuriating.
