  1. Remarque I love Remarque. Have read all his books I could get my hands on when I was a teen, and could relate to every single one of them. A very unique feeling. It's good to know there's someone else out there who appreciates him as much as I do!
  2. I found the English Patient movie also extremely boring, so didn't even bother with the book You're loving The Great Gatsby? I think F. Scott Fitzgerald is just not for me... I love the setting, but found the novel very meh.
  3. We're selling Augustinsson. Just for you, a special offer for Bayern - only 30 million Euro!
  4. My personal top list of Hesse's books would be: 1. Steppenwolf 2. Demian 3. Siddhartha 4. Journey to the East 5. Das Glasperlenspiel 6. Narcissus and Goldmund 7. Knulp 8. Peter Camenzind 9. Klingsor's Last Summer 10. Rosshalde Although to be honest, I read them all a long time ago, and if I re read it again, the order would probably change. Some of Hesse's books definitely have a certain critical age bracket when you should read it to enjoy it the most, in my opinion...

    History

Thought this was cool... The oldest existing piece of literature.
  6. We can have a 2. Bundesliga Comunio, if there's interest
  7. Are those ratings for the F1 game or just random?
  8. He changed a lot while at Bremen Before: Now:
  9. Kyu-hyun Park is officially my most favourite Werder player as of today. A complete madman From drinking 14 raw eggs a day, to a crazy hairstyle, to performing Gangnam Style as his introduction to the team - just brilliant too bad the original video has been made private, but here's a short clip:
  10. RIP I knew he was in a hospital for quite a while, but then got better and was released, so I hoped he'd make it, but then read the post by his daughter announcing his passing away today.
  11. Love it, both the squad and the presentation
  12. His teammates already call him Eierkopf But it must be working, he looks very athletic compared to two years ago
  13. Wow, I certainly didn't expect this! Better late than never though, even if it took you more than four years Welcome back, mate! Not great times for our clubs, huh.
  14. That's bullshit though the owner/landlord is named Gerd S. (full surname not disclosed) https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.spox.com/de/sport/fussball/international/spanien/1904/News/gericht-faellt-urteil-ousmane-dembele-muss-fuer-vermuelltes-haus-in-dortmund-strafe-zahlen.html
  15. Dembele is a massive douchebag. After seeing in what condition he left the house where he lived in Dortmund, one should rather wonder what kind of shithole does he himself come from and how "advanced" it is. The landlord even had to sue him for 20000 Euro for the damages, and Dembele's agent arrogantly suggested that the landlord should just demolish the house and build a new one instead. Arrogant vile cunts.
  16. Yes, he was at Bremen since 2019 (2 year loan), first in U19 then in U23 last season, and training with the first team he's developing insanely fast, and looks very impressive so far; definitely the most exciting talent for me. With Augustinsson leaving, this should be a great chance for him to make a breakthrough into the first team...
  17. As expected, Kyu-hyun Park's transfer has been finalized. Very excited, hope he gets regular playing time this season and develops further.
  18. I'm finishing #6 just now... And yeah, I can imagine that all the spaceflight and (pseudo)scientific terminology can get a bit tricky
