You know what’s weird. Being in a position where you’re interviewing someone for a position you think is easy to fill and you don’t understand how much they want it. Makes you appreciate life and the importance of a simple job. I had a woman in her 50’s cry yesterday. Age is nothing to do with it, it just made me sympathise with her even more. After I calmed her nerves down she smashed it… and I recommended HR to take her on. Still adjusting to making those kind of decisions. Work/life is great at the moment.

Had an endoscopy, 24 hour ECG, and several other tests in 2021. Seem to be gradually on the mend now. Did 5 mile this morning without feeling like i was having a heart attack. Still waiting for another consultation but i assume it's something GERD related and maybe an irregular heartbeat.

It’s not allowing an edit of a post. Saying it has been too long. And sometimes not loading posts that have been typed out. Then go back to the topic and it’s there saved. Then you click submit again and the same thing happens again. Probably only temporary and I’m not that fussed. Just reporting

I was baptised and I’m not really religious. And it helped me get into a school, not private but it was a good school. Mother of my child is more religious than me, and we were due to get the daughter baptised but Covid halted it. Still not got round to it yet. I’m not mega religious as I’ve said but there’s a % of me that finds it a special day whenever I’ve been to any.

I agree mate he was losing the round. But I still don’t think he was a dead cert to lose. Sad to see to be honest… but full credit to Poirier the man is an all round beast. And improved and come back from multiple losses so well. Good card I enjoyed it. I agree about Burns, I wasn’t a fan of that. OMalley deserved the knockout but Im not sure he’s ready for the top guys but I’m sure he will get a too tight as he’s making a name for himself. Tired as fuck after a few hours sleep but on we go for the final today.

Has anyone used the lateral flow tests and what’s your experience with them, if so? Tested positive last night then did another over night and it was negative. I’ve done the right thing and booked a follow up and not gone into work. Decided to take one as I had flu symptoms yesterday and had the tests left over in the house from when I had to isolate a few weeks back because of test and trace.
