  1. Going to spend a week in a camper van in September doing the North Coast 500 in Scotland and I cannot wait.
  2. I watched two Harlow Town games this season, before it was curtailed. They were bottom of the 8th tier when the season was ended and were free falling to county level football. I’ll probably do a few of their games again next season, because it’ll be easy if there’s still restrictions on crowds. I’ll also, hopefully, just be able to get to league football in places next season.
  3. I’m not one for comparing ban lengths, I don’t think it ever really helps and doesn’t really prove too much, however, ten games is lenient for what is a crime. I don’t want to get into “well, if you two footed an old woman in the street, you’d get prison” territory because, frankly, that’s weird but racism is not treated anywhere near as serious as it should be.
  4. Clubs finally boycotting social media. This will help once some big clubs get involved.
  5. Had a look at the draws myself and did a lucky 15. Weymouth have just scored deep into injury time to beat Maidenhead and mean I’ve ended with 1/4 selections as a though with the other three all decided by the odd goal.
  6. The ramifications here won’t be felt just yet either. The League Cup format will be changed or the whole thing will be scrapped. I can’t see the FA Cup replays coming back, unfortunately, either, all for the benefit of the big clubs.
  7. Feel quite sad about this. Thinking about it, some of my biggest memories of my formative years following football were Champions League on ITV related. United in ‘99, Leeds’ run in 2000, United losing to Bayer Leverkusen with Sir Alex desperate to get to Glasgow for the final, the introduction of Mourinho and his Porto side, the Zidane goal in the Final, Arsenal getting to a Final, Istanbul and just general random memories of teams and players like Deportivo La Coruna and Juninho. This will make me lose a bit of interest. Don’t get me wrong, I still like the Champions League and the big games will continue to be interesting and pull me in but it’ll be a bit tarnished by the power grab by those with the loudest voices. I think we’ll be lucky to see your Leicester’s or Werder Bremen’s in the Champions League again.
  8. There’ll be a vote of no confidence this week, understandably, too.
  9. I love stuff like this. Well done.
  10. The NRL is a goldmine for bellends but the Super League is a second chance for the bigger of the Antipodean knobs.
  11. I don’t think Southgate’s comments are that bad. TAA’s form did drop (as did Liverpool’s as a collective) and he has taken steps in the right direction and is/has regained form. He has also picked players on form in the past and he’s done so here again.
  12. TAA has played 89 (EIGHTY NINE) games since the start of 19/20 and 46 since football resumed in June. I know he’s a young lad but it’s San Marino, Albania and Poland. We can get by without him, we know what he’s about and how he plays and while he’s in good form, we’ve got options in that position elsewhere.
  13. It was a random attack, which is all the more frightening given he was a police officer. Silly dick has rented a car in his own name and using his own mobile number and been caught on CCTV of a bus, apparently, talking to her and her then getting in the car. Exposed himself twice the same day, too, over in Kent.
  14. The really disappointing and upsetting thing is, this woman did all the right things. Stuck to well lit main roads and wore bright colours, perhaps unintentionally, but nevertheless this seemingly isn’t enough of a deterrent and there’s been some really open exchanges on social media of women’s experiences with men intimidating them or much worse.
  15. Body parts found in the hunt for this woman. Terribly sad.
  16. They must have found a body or he’s admitted killing her.
  17. It’s a proper basket case at that level and the National League. I’ll be surprised if someone doesn’t go bust in that National League. Much further down, the Essex Senior League is going to run a competition during April and May for clubs, so I may have football to watch live, should crowds be allowed.

Remember when we were going to change the forum up and you would have had an allocation of coins to “spend”?
  19. National League North and South have voted null and void on their season. Can see everything else below it going the same way.
  20. Anthony Martial, again (I think?). United will condemn it but they’ll continue to use social media and they’ll lob Martial out there on Thursday night.
  21. And the unlucky winner today is...Yan Dhanda.
