  1. wednesday4life was sadly one of those bitter posters you get on forums, and we do get them now and again. They are generally a negative nancy on everything and anything, and would argue the grass isn't green or the sky isn't blue if they could. Like a dog with a bone. That was him to a tee. He was almost as bitter in life as Weird World was with England/the English. Anything to do with England National Team, Premier League, English fans, English anything, he would slate till the cows come home. He wound himself up he had that much hate for us inside
  2. Yeah I remember, your pitch was shocking. But you were playing long ball way before that mate
  3. I didn't realise you had to share with a Rugby team. That's gonna be shocking for your pitch and the way you play surely.
  4. Have they painted the seats a mish mash of colours to make it look like fans are there if there are empty seats?
  5. I saw Moneyball with Brad Pitt the other day. No idea how I missed this flick before given it was 2011, but a really solid sports movie, especially given I've no love for Baseball. Jonah Hill is also really good in this, love his character and was even more intrigued this was a true story. Brad Pitt is actually excellent in it, probably one of his best movies I'd say. No surprises he got an Oscar nomination for his performance. 8/10

If anyone was to go into I'm a Celebrity this year, it should have been this guy. Probably the most familiar face I've seen during Coronavirus. I've seen him more than my own missus which shows how much he has been there for me. He is the beacon of hope, passed around from Whats'app group to What'sapp group, giving joy and laughter to all in times of need. If ever we needed a hero right now, this is our guy... P.S And now, he's finally safe for work.
  7. Does @JOSHBRFC still post here? Genuine sound lad who always used to piss me off because he'd win so many bets. Nice guy, but not seen much of him for a while. @Amehh was ace too. She doesn't talk a load of broken biscuits when it comes to City but she doesn't seem to appear here as much as the previous board sadly. Greg the Sheffield United fan was one of the good guy's too. I don't think he ever made it across.
  8. Probably @The Artful Dodger Really friendly guy towards others, always positive vibes, never criticised or moaned. Didn't have a bad word to say about anyone. A real people's person. Definitely the kind of person you'd choose to spend your personal time with and have a beer. Would be such a fun night. No negativity whatsoever.

Oh ok, so on that app, does it let you create your own private game exactly how you want it? We used Pokerstars a couple times but it seems you can only use a laptop or pc for it. In this day and age, a lot of people do use tablets that puts them out a bit. I think we should definitely do one on here.

Who plays Poker here? More to the point, who would want to play? If you do, you will need a laptop or computer for the software. But it's easy enough to download and doesn't take long. Once you register, I can set a lobby up for us on Pokerstars for our own private game. We can arrange a day and time and go for it. I'm not thinking big money, it's just a bit of fun. Maybe for next weekend somewhen?

Internet Lesson Number 1. Who lads think they are chatting to on dating websites... Vs Who lads are really chatting to on dating websites... P.S Sorry @CaaC (John) I couldn't help it

From my experience, it sounds like a Code Red. She is on.
  13. I found this film to be bordering on average apart from a solid 30/40 mins from the moment Brad Pitt picked up that girl to take her back to the ranch. That whole segment from the moment he arrives to the moment he leaves is pure class. Very intense. How a film can just meander along and then grab you like that was beyond me. Maybe it was intended that way. The ending was ok. A bit 'marmite' for me. Some will like, some won't. He flipped the script to what the audience possibly expected the storyline to follow which is a slight shame because they could have incorporated that or did it instead of, but it at least provided some crazy action in the only way QT knows how. 6.5 for me.

Haha there is nothing Valencian, Granadan or Villarealled in this, I can assure you I'm not a seafood fan so left out stuff like Prawns. Instead, it's Chicken cut up and cooked with some flavourings before, then Chorizo, Red Pepper, Red Onion, Peas and special rice for Paella (Arborio) Bloody lovely.

That is rough to take. Sorry it has to be that way @Danny Life has been very shit the last few weeks, and it's things like this that act as a reminder. Whilst we may all think we have it tough, there is always someone worse off. Hopefully when all this palava is over, you all get to give him the send off he deserves.
  17. To say I'm shocked is an understatement. This would never have happened with Hugh Grant in power
  18. Fair play. Just heard all the clapping in the street for the NHS. Bloody loud. Didn't expect many to pop out bit there were a few. To be fair I completely forgot. Only reason I was outside was to let the dog out for a piss. The timing was just supurb. She's honoured.
  19. Did he really hit Gomez though? I'm no Sherlock Holmes but I'm calling bluff for three legitimate reasons. A - There's no way he could reach a 6ft 2 Gomez without standing on a Yellow pages. 2 - There's no way he could swing a hook using those Velociraptor arms. C - There's no way it could connect on target because most his other shots this season have been wide, over or straight at the keeper.

    Boxing

Interesting day. Aj v Pulev. Wilder v Fury III Pretty much nailed on now. Shame it's panned out like that. It would have made sense to go straight to the unification fight but there we go. So what happens if Wilder wins? Do they go for a forth fight to decide? Just seems strange to me.
  21. I literally said about Sawyers but I think you must have quote and wrote your post just as I'd fit that in. Agree anyway.
