  1. Not long back from a walk through the woods and caught a relatively decent shot. Amazing what a bit of colour can do.
  2. Imagine being suited and booted, strapped up, sitting there mentally ready in your head to blast off into Space, only to be fucked about by the weather like that. Got to be annoying.
  3. Didn't really get any arty shots today on my afternoon forest walk, but this wasn't too bad.
  4. My bad. That is why I should stick to my usual haunts on the forum.
  5. Great tits to be fair. Just a shame it's Kerry Katona. Like chucking a hot dog down an alleyway.
  6. Apparently you can view the SpaceX rocket tonight? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-8360713/amp/SpaceX-rocket-shoot-Britains-skies-9-50pm-TONIGHT.html It sounds cool, but in reality, are we really going to be able to notice anything?
  7. Jesus. Size of that bad boy. Definitely gonna bring a girl some happy times.
  8. One was a beach in the evening which is probably a good half hour from me. But its really quiet and not easily accessible hence why its always quiet. The other one was yesterday through the New Forest which is only 15mins away. Just beautiful everywhere you go out there.
  9. A couple from the weekend.

Have a good one @CaaC (John) Glad you got to see wee Kaiden. You idolise the boy so much even I think of him as wee Kaiden in my head
  11. Weather is great down here but the Costa del Bournemouth has the beaches for sure. Probably 2nd only to Cornwall England wise. I'm sure our trips will materialise eventually and they will feel all the more worthwhile after this pandemic. Lots of ideas myself but I'll wait till we get a rough idea when its safe and then probably have a blow out.
  12. Favourite film. Love it. Jaws, Gladiator, American Beauty. It's gonna take something special to break them three for me.

I'm not into fishing but some lads at work are massively. They go night fishing and allsorts and always appear to enjoy it. So I can relate to what your saying about the relaxation and feeling content by the lake. Hopefully as the weeks go on, everyone will find an outlet that reflects something they'd normally do before Covid ruined everything.
  14. My favourite film of all time is Jaws. I hold an interest in Shark movies generally as a result but bar a few, in the main they have just got progressively worse and worse which is a shame. But I really enjoyed this too. Not too long, fair degree of action considering she's essentially stuck in a bit of a chess game with the shark, and as you say, visually beautiful. It didn't feel like a cheap, straight to DVD film either. And Blake Lively is gorgeous.

It's one of them @CaaC (John), bit like say Snooker. Not for everyone to watch, but to play, it's quite relaxing and enjoyable.

Not really no. People were playing but you had at least one hole gap to another group. And they put sponge in the cups so you didn't have to reach down into the holes.

I expected the worst today but played ok. The ground is so much harder so even when you scuff shots (which I did many times) it doesn't turn out to be such a bad shot.

Won't be everyone's cup of tea I know, but for those that play or remotely care, I went for my first round of Golf in ages today and enjoyed every minute. Course was in great nick and it made a refreshing change from the 'norm' of the last couple months.
  19. wednesday4life was sadly one of those bitter posters you get on forums, and we do get them now and again. They are generally a negative nancy on everything and anything, and would argue the grass isn't green or the sky isn't blue if they could. Like a dog with a bone. That was him to a tee. He was almost as bitter in life as Weird World was with England/the English. Anything to do with England National Team, Premier League, English fans, English anything, he would slate till the cows come home. He wound himself up he had that much hate for us inside
  20. Yeah I remember, your pitch was shocking. But you were playing long ball way before that mate
  21. I didn't realise you had to share with a Rugby team. That's gonna be shocking for your pitch and the way you play surely.
  22. Have they painted the seats a mish mash of colours to make it look like fans are there if there are empty seats?
