Well that's put a spanner in my works for Christmas personally but I'm sure there will be plenty of others in the same boat or worse. I'm prepared to obey the rules, but I know full well plenty won't which will be the frustrating part.

I'm sure it was very nice John boy, if only we could see the picture clearly

Given it will likely be a two fight arrangement, if they can't use Wembley the first time round, you'd like to think they will get it second time. Either way, they should fight next year, in the Middle East if that is an option. It's not ideal but it can't keep being put on hold. Life doesn't stop, you have to move on and the time is now whilst both are healthy, fit and in their prime.

Really? Has that been announced or is that reliable information from social media? That's horrific luck if so. Feel bad for him as he was on fire.

I hope we get the fight/s we all want to see now. No more talking, acting or whatever, get them contracts done and signed. There is no legitimate reason for it not to happen, everything is perfectly set for what should be the Sports event of 2021, that big it will probably happen twice.

@CaaC (John) He's nicking all your jokes mate.

I'm just gonna hazard a guess here, but having had that same look off my missus a few times, she is definitely sending strong 'Fuck you' vibes.

Referees/VAR in the Premier League
Lucas replied to Happy Blue's topic in Premier League - English Football Forum
Oh no, it's not an attempt to dig out VAR, more highlighting the fact we saw two very similar decisions in the past 7 days and we've shot ourselves in the foot by being honest. I do wonder though whether because of that, it was ever initially looked at or not by the panel but it is frustrating. For the record, I'm actually with @Dr. Gonzo, I think it's soft as shit giving penalties for that, Brighton's and Fulham's. But seeing as the phrase 'letter of the law' get's bounded about so easily these days, it's frustrating when these little things occur against you. -

Referees/VAR in the Premier League

So Robertson was penalised against Brighton and Fuchs was penalised against Fulham. But because our player stayed on his feet, it's gone under the radar. This is the problem. Inconsistencies. If he goes down there, no one is really complaining it's a penalty are they. -
My mate won a ticket in the ballot for Saturday's game, although it's come at the cost of £75 quid I think he said. Quite expensive that. Mind you, it's only once a season we visit so understandable...

Referees/VAR in the Premier League

Again, classic example. One line is on Watkins elbow, one line is the defender's shoulder. Not only that, but Watkins was being fouled and it was missed? It's so hard to comprehend. -
Referees/VAR in the Premier League

I understand about the camera perspective but we don't have them so I can only judge on what we do have. If its not that obvious from the angles provided, you make a judgement call. The question the VAR official should ask is, 'is the replay enough for me to disallow the goal?'. If they are really unsure and it's that tight, award a goal. It's not perfection but I think people will relate more to the way that a decision is made on that basis as opposed to how it's done currently. -
Referees/VAR in the Premier League

I don't have a problem with VAR looking at it but I have a serious issue with the lines business. Why should VAR waste the time they do using these stupid lines when the ref could just as quickly trot over, see its a tight decision and just say to himself, is it really that obvious for me to not award a goal? We don't need lines. Look at it once or twice with the naked eye, three times if it's really tight and if you're not sure, the answer is staring you in the face. Award the goal. I really dont think anyone can really cry about it if its that tight. -

From what I've experienced of it this season, I'd personally be happy for it to be judged by the naked eye from the camera shot. By all means let VAR look at it, but if its too close to call from the views they are provided and the referee really doesn't know, give the goal. I don't think anyone can complain if its that tight. The lines are just not working for me. Horribly inconsistent. I won't be convinced otherwise. Rightly or wrongly, it's up to the referee to interpret penalty decisions, he may as well judge the offside too, let's not forget they should carry a decisive role in the game. -
He has been massively overhyped. I can't say I've seen much from him to suggest he is troubling the major players in the division.

What a way to win and lose a grand final. Not sure you could quite write that. Just a crazy thing to happen in the final seconds. May well go down as one of the biggest sporting moments of the year domestically for drama.

Nice to see Bairstow giving it some to the South Africans. They normally like to get a bit chirpy in all so that will quieten them down.

Lobster is the most overrated food ever. I have tried it once, at a Wedding and only because I was fucking hungry and curious...it was grim. Fuck would I pay £30/40 for that at a restaurant.
-
Sorry, I cannot trust a food that includes a type with shit in it's name

Nope sorry. I'm not a massive Seafood fan unfortunately. Don't mind Tuna if it has some mayo in it and prawns are ok but other than that I struggle. I've tried to like Salmon but I just can't. That along with Mushrooms are like my worst nightmare
-
One of those dishes that looks great but the Salmon is a no go for me.

It came out well to be fair, I'm gonna try it as a Steak Pie next time. Do you have 'Click to choose files' at the bottom of a post? Like this?

What on earth has happened to this thread? Bloody Yoghurts?! Fuck sake John... Anyway, I made my first actual Pie this afternoon. Didn't know whether to go sweet or savoury so tried an Apple Pie. Pretty chuffed with that. Can't wait to destroy that later with some custard.
