Dave
All shows were pretty good this week. Other than Raw, Main Event sounded better than Raw.
Dave
Cody did the most flawed promo on Dynamite about what it means to be an American where he's made Anthony Ogogo out to be an evil British foreigner and all its done is make everybody hope that Anthony Ogogo punches him in the gut and ends it in four seconds.

Ah yes, Mindless self indulgence from the midcard champ.

Yeah, predictable PPV but the wrestling was good. 17 hours ago, Devil-Dick Willie said: Except the bit where Miz and drip drip died. I would have loved to have seen that conversation at WWE Headquarters... "Well. That AEW Blood and Guts set the business back 20 years! What a joke! . . . Did you sort out those Actors to play as Zombies next week Bruce?".

The Chris Benoit episodes in particular were pretty harrowing. The New Jack episode was most shocking to me.

Dave
The Miz is out for nine months with a torn ACL. I think those that slag him off will realise what he brings to the product whilst he's gone.

Dave
Two things to note from Double or Nothing... - Sting is in fantastic shape for a 62 year old and could be a real asset for AEW. - Anthony Ogogo has been ending matches in four seconds by punching guys in the stomach, but Triple Cody wearing an American flag can take a punch to the face and kick out after two.
6666
Apparently AEW fans and AEW wrestlers are continuing to help the narrative that they're massively sensitive bitches in response to Jim Ross saying he likes Randy Orton.

JR has been a mess since he's arrived at AEW which it's makes it even funnier that he will never get replaced as Tony Khan loves his famous 90s voices. Dave
Full list at the minute: - Braun Strowman - Aleister Black - Buddy Murphy - Lana - Ruby Riott - Santana Garrett I think they all signed new contracts when WWE were hoarding people after AEW arrived but before the pandemic. Ive read rumours that Black, Murphy, Lana and Ruby had been unhappy at points in the last year which makes their choices a bit easier. Braun Strowman is a huge surprise though. I'm beginning to wonder if these cuts are a way of offsetting costs before a sale.

Not a fan of Strowman but at one point he was over, then they booked him like shit. Hocus, pocus stuff with The Fiend and a shit title run ruined him. Still remember him clapping his hands and chanting "Thank you Taker" as the champion. Looked like a fucking tool. Lana was being used as well so her release is a bit of a surprise as well. Have little info on Garrett other than her randomly being a Rumble entrant. Not knowing what to do with some of the wrestlers that have been released recently is pretty incredible. Would say that Black, Murphy, Ruby Riott, Andrade, and Joe would all be great additions to AEW but they've not done well with anyone new that they signed since their first show. I think Aleister Black is a case of the dialogue between creative/production and talent relations being non-existent. I imagine in a couple of years time Bruce Pritchard will tell us exactly how much time, money and effort went in to recreating Aleister Black despite behind closed doors him being on the next round of cuts. DeadLinesman
Ruby Riott has more potential than both Natalya and Tamina at this point. This is what happens when nepotism rules the business.

Shayna Baszler lost to a male gymnast last week, Eva Marie is making a return, The Bellas kicked Bayley down a stage at Wrestle Mania and both Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose are still employed.
