Pakistan's game to lose now.

Don't think Pakistan have ever beaten India in a WC game?

This stadium is atrocious even for a club match, the ball literally stucks in the outfield.

It did rain a lot before the game eventually started...

what a shit show by Pakistan batters. low scoring match was expected given the previous matches here but Naseem showed more intent than everyone. Deserved to get eliminated

Credit to death over bowling by Bumrah.

Bowling attack is as good as any out there. Problem is our shitty batsman never do a fucking job.

Batsmen with 10,000 Test runs and their achilles heel in terms of lowest average by countries

1. Sachin Tendulkar

in Pakistan, avg 40.25 of 13 inngs in 10 matches

(not bad by any means but still low compared to other Indian players in Pak)

2. Ricky Ponting

in India, avg 26.48 of 25 inngs in 14 matches

(woefully bad considering how much he has played there)

3. Jacques Kallis

in England, avg 35.33 of 25 inngs in 15 matches

(respectable but poor compared to his own teamates)

4. Rahul Dravid

in South Africa, avg 29.71 of 22 inngs in 11 matches

(poor but not surprising since prime South Africa at home was bane for nearly all subcon batsmen)

5. Alastair Cook

in New Zealand, avg 27.13 of 15 inngs in 8 matches

6. Kumar Sangakara

in West Indies, avg 34.00 of 7 inngs in 4 matches

(not enough sample size really)

7. Brain Lara

in India, avg 33.00 of 6 inngs in 3 matches

(again low sample and surprised to see how he barely played in India)

8. Shivnarine Chanderpaul

in Australia, avg 30.20 of 21 inngs in 11 matches

(not a single century there despite playing enough)

9. Mahela Jawardene

in South Africa, avg 27.88 of 16 inngs in 8 matches

(same as Dravid)

10. Joe Root

in Bangladesh, avg 24.50 of 4 inngs in 2 matches

(low sample but bad considering other players also don't play much there but still have higher stats)

11. Allan Border

in South Africa, avg 38.00 of 5 inngs in 3 matches

12. Steve Waugh

in Sri Lanka, avg 16.60 of 5 inngs in 4 matches

13. Sunil Gavaskar

in Sri Lanka, avg 37.30 of 6 inngs in 3 matches

(same as Root, Sri Lanka were new in his time and others also barely played there but still have better stats)

14. Younis Khan

in West Indies, avg 22.20 of 15 inngs in 8 matches

(shockingly poor since Windies weren't all that great in his time, Inzimam faced a much stronger WI with Walsh Ambrose but avgs 50s in WI for reference)

No idea how we ended up winning that but we somehow brought it back in the final parts of the SA innings.

Sky's catch was just sublime, given the circumstances.

Went to sleep halfway between South Africa chase but I was pretty sure India would win. Nice to see Kohli Sharma finishing their T20 career on a high.

All I'll say is this, the neighborhood partied till 5AM last night. SA really did do so well to set it up and then crumbled when it mattered most. Oh well.
