Panna King Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 No point of Arsenal pursing any players at this moment as they need to get players to fit a coaches system and the current coach no one even knows what that is so I wouldnt waste anymore money on him.

This tactic was applied to the signings of both Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, wrapping deals up for the teenagers early so as to avoid paying astronomical sums later on. In fact, the amount paid for Reinier represents something of a coup for Real Madrid, who were initially quoted a whopping €70m (£59.7m/$78.1m) for the teenager, but have now ended up paying half that fee. https://www.goal.com/en/news/real-madrid-confirm-35m-deal-for-flamengo-teenager-reinier/mjk6gn82f9lk1gh3o2e4wjx17

Real Madrid is acquiring lots of young talent. The post-Messi era could be similar to Barcelona what the post-Fergie era has been to United. Reinier cost 30 million euros to Real Madrid. If you read the insert it will tell you why, if they had signed him up when he was 16 then they would have had to pay the full amount, but they agreed to take him aboard when he was 15 but if they signed him up when he turned 16 then they would only pay half the amount and Flamengo agreed, if they had said no to Real's offer then Real would have said "Fuck you, go and try to flog a 15-year-old somewhere else then for £60 mill", would you pay £60 mill for a 15-year-old kid?
