So much better than in previous years when we made it known to everyone who our targets were then wait for the likes of Chelsea to move in with a shed full of dosh and hijack it. One was in the last 6 months of his contract, Preston have done well to get a fee at all. And by all accounts he would have been a lot more if he had a couple years on that contract. The other played for a team who are likely to be relegated, have financial troubles as it is without the extra loss of revenue the second division will bring. They know his quality, and the chances are we will take up the option to sign him. I’m optimistic here, and with Matip out they are going to get plenty of chances to play and show their qualities.
