With Pickford out, who would everyone choose out of Hart, Heaton or Butland as a replacement?

I don't think anyone on this forum rates Hart, and he's conceded 10 goals in 3 games already (not all his fault obviously but still not a good ratio).

Heaton has helped his side to 4 points at Chelsea/Spurs, conceded 4 from 3 league games.

Butland for Stoke has kept a clean sheet, the only keeper to do so out of the 3.

Out of the 3 left, I'd probably pick him anyway as a I rate him the most.

Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has been ruled out of England's World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovakia because of a muscle injury.

The uncapped 23-year-old picked up the injury during Saturday's defeat by Chelsea in the Premier League.

England manager Gareth Southgate has not called up a replacement because he already has Joe Hart, Jack Butland and Tom Heaton in his squad.

England play Malta away on Friday before hosting Slovakia on 4 September.

A Football Association statement said: "Having reported to St George's Park on Sunday evening, the 23-year-old underwent an assessment on a muscle injury sustained playing for his club.

"After discussions between England and Everton medics, it was decided it was in the player's best interests to return to Finch Farm for further treatment."

Pickford is yet to make his senior international debut but he was on the bench for England's World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia and Scotland in October and November 2016.

Hart has had a long time where he's not really done anything that's obviously shit but has continued to concede a lot of goals. It's justifiable to put it down to playing behind poor defences, Bravo fared even worse than Hart last season after all. It's also justifiable to point out you can't ignore his declining record at City that ultimately saw Pep give him the boot, a meh spell at Torino and what looks a poor start at West Ham.

Hart's early promise can't just be gone forever but you can only make excuses for the number of goals he concedes for so long. I'd personally be picking Butland this time.

Haul Livermore off (not that he's done anything wrong, just that another DM is really not required) - get a striker on. Anyone - Defoe, Vardy, Rashford. Give us extra players in the box to go up against all their defenders. At most it's only Kane, Alli and one of the wingers who get in the box.

Shit to watch so far.
