londonerlilie
I was just about to write that! If this carries on, Darmstadt and Bremen might actually end up getting promoted together.

Well, that's just how it is. We got a new manager with a clear strategy, tactics and football philosophy, and he was able to communicate it successfully to the team, getting the best out of the players in the process. 5 wins in 5 matches after he took over. Everyone appears to be in high spirits, team morale is high, and everything just sorta fell into the right place. Fülkrug and Ducksch cooperate perfectly, which leads to them scoring goals and assisting each other every match. Schmid is finally playing in his position, which has also resulted in 3 goals in 5 matches compared to zero in 15 previous games this season. Michael
Hansa Rostock could only draw at home to Heidenheim, meaning that they have now gone eight matches without a win in the 2. Bundesliga. However, Rostock have responded to their poor performances by making 3 very good signings this winter break. At the forefront is a young striker who I have watched many times and that is Danylo Sikan, who arrives on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk. Top Swiss side Basel wanted Sikan on loan, but they wanted an option to buy Sikan at the end of the season, something that Shakhtar weren't willing to do, as Shakhtar want to keep Sikan for the long term. Sikan has played for Ukraine at all levels and despite still being just 20 years old, he already has a goal for the Ukrainian national team and 4 appearances for them as well. Sikan has a nose for goal and he could really be the answer to Rostock's attack. It will be very interesting to see how the very talented kid does at struggling Rostock. Rostock also signed Swedish under-21 striker Nils Froling from Kalmar on a free transfer. Froling who is 21, is very highly regarded in Sweden and he will join his fellow Swedish compatriot Svante Ingelsson at Rostock. Ingelsson joined Rostock at the start of the season and Ingelsson was actually a team mate of Froling's at Kalmar in 2020. Froling seems to be another good player and he could perhaps form an interesting forward partnership with Sikan at Rostock. Lastly, Rostock signed Schalke defender Timo Becker on loan until the end of the season. Becker should help bolster Rostock's defence. All in all, it looks like Rostock have done some very good transfer business this winter.
