You do love Schumi Jnr though 😍

He's like a younger brother to me! :xxD

Seriously though, when he won the F2 title, I felt so proud. xD I was smiling at the TV like someone he's someone I know. xD

  • The title was changed to F1 - 2022 - Hungarian GP - 29-31st July

Friday, July 29 – FP1 and FP2

All track action is expected to take place with an ambient air temperature of around 34 degrees celsius in warm and dry conditions. Humidity is predicted to loiter around 30% with no rain expected throughout the two practice sessions.

Saturday, July 30 – FP3 and Qualifying

However, the weather is set to turn on its head for qualifying – one of the most important sessions of the year. Temperatures will ease to around 25 degrees celsius, with thunderstorms hitting the circuit.

Rain looks a near certainty, with the latest weather models showing the chances of rain during the afternoon hours to be between 94 and 98%!

Humidity will be at 64%, with light winds in the vicinity of the circuit coming from the north west.

Sunday, July 31 – Hungarian GP

The weather then changes back on Sunday to match closely the conditions from Friday practice.

The chances of rain fade to just 5% during the hours of the race, with temperatures remaining cooler at 25 degrees celsius. The sun will break through the clouds, although a certain amount of cloud cover is expected to remain overhead throughout.

Looking like a good opportunity for Ferrari this weekend to even score a 1-2 finish. The rain might throw a spanner in the works but we need Ferrari to do the business here if we want to see a decent battle for the title after the summer break.

It feels like the right time now for them to back Leclerc as their lead driver for the rest of the season. It doesn't mean Sainz can't compete for the championship in future seasons but we've reached that tipping point now where their chances of winning the Drivers' title are so slim that they'll get wiped out if they let them take any more points off each other. If SAI-LEC is the order at the front on Sunday, they have to do the swap.

This is a good point and the halfway stage is the time to start. You had people saying Bottas was a wingman for Lewis. But this was only as the season progressed. They were allowed to race for the first 6-8 races and from there Bottas was usually way out of it and ended up playing a support role.
