Rick
Arsenal will knock shit out of Burnley, so we simply cannot drop points. Brentford are tricky, and it’s an annoying time to play them.

LFCMike
Alisson out tomorrow, apparently a hamstring injury. Not what we needed going up against a team like Brentford who have caused us so many problems from set pieces in the two away games we've had there since they've been up. LFCMike
Defo thought we'd have seen Gomez in one of the full back positions. Otherwise probably as expected. Bench looking quite strong anyway
Danny
Why have Liverpool recruited one of their coaches from Asterix and Obelix?
Danny
Good start so far, we’ve been lively and the better side. But I expect Liverpool to start to dominate possession soon
Administrator Stan Posted February 17 Author Administrator Share Posted February 17 Decent start from Brentford. Endo casually getting away with a deliberate handball there.
Danny
Our finishing is rusty, couple shots taken too early, too late or scuffed. Creating a lot of chances though, just need to start scoring now as realistically we could be 1 or 2-0 up. But Liverpool will eventually bring on Salah…
Administrator Stan Posted February 17 Author Administrator Share Posted February 17 That looked painful for Jones.

Administrator Stan Posted February 17 Author Administrator Share Posted February 17 It's a quality finish. Defender should do better against Jota.

Administrator Stan Posted February 17 Author Administrator Share Posted February 17 I swear Jota gets injured whenever I put him in my Fantasy League squad. Every. Single. Time.

Danny
Fair to say we should have scored a couple here, but then Liverpool could have had an extra with that break that hit Salah’s shin. More than anything this game is highlighting how badly we miss Henry, Schade and Mbeumo. Our team right now has no pace, with Schade and Mbeumo our counter attacks just find that extra yard where defenders can’t recover like Konate did against Toney earlier. With Henry that Liverpool goal is taken care of easily, he’s so strong defensively in those positions and it allows is to be aggressive. The lack of pace was a problem against City and Spurs, with it we completely turn those games on their heads. Without it, its a struggle at times which means our counter attacking needs to be more precise. I don’t think we need to make many changes right now, we just need to get back to creating chances like we did earlier in the first half. With that said at some point I expect Wissa and Onyeka to come on, our finishing has been poor and Onyeka offers legs and pace from midfield, we need his running in behind to help cause problems. LFCMike
Some of the fouls given against us in that half are ridiculous when you consider how physical Brentford are. Toney and Maupay only need to be touched and they get a free kick
LFCMike
Nunez off at half time, what the fuck

Administrator Stan Posted February 17 Author Administrator Share Posted February 17 2-0. Game over you'd think. Brentford haven't properly tested Kelleher.
Danny
Feels like game over. Just taken apart by two very good goals, need to make some subs now to give us any chance of getting back in
Danny
How the fuck has the ref not given a free kick there, Konate’s foot went above Toney’s head
