Subscriber Viva la FCB+ Posted May 8 Subscriber Share Posted May 8 Expected 11 from Bild.. seems pretty spot on. Goretzka relegated to the bench...Hoping Pavlovic can step up like hes shown so far. Edit: and sure enough that is the official lineup.
Michael
This is a strong and expected Bayern line-up except that Pavlovic and Mazraoui start ahead of Goretzka and Davies. It's good to see de Ligt back in defence instead of Kim(who was the weak link and responsible for both Real Madrid goals in the 1st leg). I just hope that de Ligt is fully fit, as he will no doubt have a busy evening. Real Madrid will pressure this Bayern team a lot and they are likely to have much more of the possession at home in the Bernabeu. But Kane, Musiala, Sane and Gnabry are all capable of punishing Real Madrid when they attack. This should be another great match to watch and a battle of the titans.
Michael
Gnabry should have done better with that chance in front of goal, after he was put through by Musiala. Gnabry should have gone for a shot instead of trying to cross the ball.

Michael
This Bayern team are more than holding their own in this match so far. Their passing and movement has been pretty impressive.
Subscriber Viva la FCB+ Posted May 8 Subscriber Share Posted May 8 Looks like Gnabry's already done, god damnit man. Davies on as his replacement.
Michael
Davies has come on for Gnabry after 26 minutes played. That's an early call by Tuchel, but clearly he has his plans in mind.
Subscriber Viva la FCB+ Posted May 8 Subscriber Share Posted May 8 Oh Kane that was an outstanding volley just wide.
Michael
Super volleyed strike there by Kane, from just outside the area, as his shot is superbly tipped round the post by the diving Lunin. Excellent technique by Kane there when executing that volley and a superb save by Lunin. Edited May 8 by Michael
MUFC
Enjoyed last nights game but can't watch this one. When Real play they always go into full on wank mode. They'll be doing the same jizz feast over Kane for the night. fuck that!!! Edited May 8 by MUFC
Michael
Mazraoui has a swerving shot at goal from outside the area, but his effort is saved comfortably enough by Lunin.
Michael
Kane tries to latch onto a through ball on goal, but Lunin beats the England forward to the ball and clears the ball away in the keeper sweeper style. The referee blows the half-time whistle, in what has been an intriguing 1st half. Half-time: Real Madrid 0-0 Bayern Munich
Michael
Kane bursts through the Real Madrid defence and has a powerful shot at goal that is excellently saved by Lunin at his near post.
Michael
Vinicius dazzles and runs down the left flank and his cross into the area is met by Rodrygo, but his left footed effort goes inches past the far post. Big chance for Real Madrid there.
Michael
Rodrygo takes a shot at goal from a free-kick just outside the Bayern area, but Neuer brilliantly saves his effort.
Michael
Laimer is such a pit-bull in that Bayern midfield. He is constantly closing down the opposition and tackling them. He's been excellent.

Michael
Vinicius has been superb this evening with his pace a constant threat. His last effort where he cut inside and forced Neuer into a great save, just demonstrates how dangerous Vinicius has been.
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted May 8 Subscriber Share Posted May 8 Odd but these are the same subs used in the first leg to change the dynamics for Madrid. The big difference being that DeLigt is having a good game.
Michael
Musiala runs into the penalty area with the ball and unleashes a powerful shot at goal which is excellently tipped over the bar by Lunin! Just two minutes after that chance and Bayern take the lead through a superb goal by Alphonso Davies! Real Madrid 0-1 Bayern Munich Edited May 8 by Michael
Subscriber Mel81x+ Posted May 8 Subscriber Share Posted May 8 I don't think that's a goal, he touched his face to begin with and that's a big no-no.
Michael
It was a good run by Davies down the left-flank and then he cut inside and unleashed a rocket of a shot that found the top hand corner of the net. Real Madrid 0-1 Bayern Munich
