He's not a natural finisher and his all round play isn't that great.

He's always got a chance to prove me wrong but I'm not seeing a striker I feel will hugely improve.

The problem like Antony is his fee defines the opinion. He's not a 70 million pound player, if we'd signed him for 20 to 30 million I'd be inclined to give him more time.

He didn’t set his fee though did he? Half these cunts going between Villa/Chelsea/Newcastle/Forest aren’t worth £30mill either but it’s the world we live in.

Are you asking me to not have my own opinion on a player?

Like yourself I've watched football long enough to be able to make my own judgement. I'd like more for my money regardless of the fee.

I don't think he's ever going to be a 20 to 30 goal a season striker. That's what we need.

Jesus wept. And back to the shadows for another 6 months. Peace out.

To be fair I think you may have read my post and assumed I'm being arsy when I wasnt . It was simply a response to two of your posts that were in response to mine, the first you said give the lad time due to his age and then the second was a reference to his fee and him not setting it. Maybe you wasn't saying I shouldn't have an opinion but both responses suggested I have to factor them into my thinking.

I stand by opinion of having doubts on him, I also agree he needs to be given time. I've had doubts about young players before and they've proven me wrong so hopefully that's the case with Hojlund.

What's happened to Sane? He seems to be a shadow of the player that got him a move to Bayern.

Honestly man he had an electric start to the season. He was probably our best player in the first half of the season but his problem has seemingly always been consistency. His second half tapered right off and he just could not make that final ball or finish to save his life. He had a few good matches in the champion's league specifically but its been a tough go for him for awhile now. I liked the idea of swapping him in for Wirtz as he had a few off matches but Wirtz is clearly the better option going forward.
