God is Haaland Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 This is killing the Stöger. Anyway, tomorrow we have to defend against a fully rested Timo Werner using a back four without 3 regular players. We have four injured fullbacks and Sokratis will probably not be available either. I expect a lot of goals.
Smiley Culture Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 Stöger will go soon, unfortunately. I really like him, his press conferences are honest and open and what he's done at Köln has been nothing short of fantastic but everyone has their best before dates and I can't help but feel that Stöger's is fast approaching. Replacing Anthony Modeste with Jhon Córdoba was criminal. They're not the same style of player at all and as good as Córdoba is, he can't be expected to replace Modeste in the current system employed by Stöger. The loss of Jonas Hector is a big one but regardless of that, there should still be more points on the board than there is.

Many claim Modeste was so much better, but Cordoba is just another type of striker. Maybe try 4-4-2.
Moderator Tommy Posted October 14, 2017 Moderator Posted October 14, 2017 That Mathenia blunder was painful to watch.
Moderator Tommy Posted October 14, 2017 Moderator Posted October 14, 2017 AUBA! 1-0 after 3 minutes. Get fucked, Red Bull.
God is Haaland Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Toljan is having a really bad day unfortunately.

God is Haaland Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Very soft penalty for us, but you can't only have bad luck i guess....

nudge Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Two goals down against Gladbach in HT, and it's probably going to be the end of Nouri.
Moderator Tommy Posted October 15, 2017 Moderator Posted October 15, 2017 Werder looked completely overwhelmed against Gladbach. I thought you guys might be coming back around the 60th minute mark, but there wasn't really that much of an effort. Great win for Gladbach!

Nah, we struggle badly, sack the manager, get a new one, go on a decent run and do just enough to survive and build up hopes for next season just to watch it happen again. The same procedure as every year, James.
