He was in Istanbul shaking hands with Erdogan again.

He may be German born, but he is a Turk, so that is not surprising if viewing it from a non political standpoint.

Turkeys greatest player Hakan Sukur is written out of history and in political exile due to his views on the Turkish fuhrer.  A commenter was arrested for talking about Hakan Sukur.

Barcelona Star Gundogan Hands In Shock Transfer Request And Asks To Leave Club

"Ilkay Gundogan wants to put an end to his time at FC Barcelona," wrote the Catalan newspaper.

Reported by Spanish media 5 days ago, he only wanted City though and snubbed interest from Fenerbahce and Saudi clubs, he's doing media stuff at City now. Barca did need to get rid of someone to register Olmo so Gundogan asking to leave last week suits all party's. Barca are very poorly run and still owe us 45 million and just avoided legal action by agreeing to let him return on a free, cheeky bustard's wanted money from us 😂

You're aware every player says that when they are joining a big club? No reason to post it for bragging, really. Only fans  clubs, that were insignificant for a long time, feel the need of telling  it others, when a player, who was newly bought, praises their new team. The fans of more historically important clubs are used to it and take it for what it is- a player not admitting money talked.
