Dave Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 Danny Ings will leave Liverpool in search of first-team football this summer, Sky Sports News understands Liverpool wanted Ings to stay at the club and offered him a new long-term deal but the 25-year-old has decided to leave in order to play regular football after an injury-blighted spell on Merseyside. The striker managed just six Premier League starts in the last three years. Ings rejected moves in the last three transfer windows and has been linked with several Premier League clubs including Tottenham and former club Burnley, as well as RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen in Germany and Inter Milan in Italy.
LFCMike Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Fair play to him for wanting regular football. Just not good enough for us though. I'm amazed at some of the clubs mentioned there that are linked with him though. He'll surely end up at a lower mid table side at best or one of the new promoted teams
Bluebird Hewitt Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Would love him here but cannot see it happening as I'd imagine the fee and wages requested will be too high, plus it's a risk considering his injury record.
Rick Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 I like the bloke but he's shockingly out of his depth here.
Subscriber Dan+ Posted June 27, 2018 Subscriber Posted June 27, 2018 I reckon he probably ends up back at Burnley.
Harry Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 He'll be successful elsewhere. Better player than we realise. Good luck to him.
